So if the word gets out that SHE cheated – resulting in him getting mad, breaking up with her, and unfollowing her on social media – well, that simply doesn’t work! She can’t be the bad guy! That hurts her brand!

The only way to fix The Singer’s brand was to bring him back into the fold. So he was given considerable “business incentives” to start following her again on social media and to say nice things about her.

    I’m tired of her, too, and I’m (sort of) a fan. She has completely over-exposed herself and over-saturated the media with her life, career, and stupid feuds. There may be no such thing as bad publicity, but it is possible to over-publicize yourself. Faith Hill did something similar back in the ’90s- early 2000s when she was on billboards, TV commercials, videos, radio, magazine ads, magazine covers, and touring just before she took time off to be with her kids.     I don’t know why Calvin Harris needs “incentives”….he’s already the highest paid DJ in the world and music industry stars are salivating to work with him. She is so mean spirited and petty minded with the songs she writes about people only to call herself the “victim.” It is incredibly immature,catty, and entitled. How can I feel bad for someone who treats others so badly? I know she does nice things in a calculated way, but overall she tears people down and is outright cruel w/ people. Breaking up w Calvin & dating an A (he’s A right?) lister will get her into the awards shows and rub elbows with actors. As manipulating as she is, she’s clever.       She cheated. However, she has the best PR team as anyone in that business will tell you, so she put the word out that he cheated. Judging by his reaction, words, and lack of any semi-suggestible evidence linking him to any other woman, it’s obvious it was a lie. Since she never publically said herself that he cheated, she won’t suffer any consequences for the lies she put out.

      Sidenote: I wonder if she knows she looks more like a rat with that new hair colour.
