Presidential Candidate Seeks Women

January 28, 2016 Blind Gossip

election 2016 4[Blind Gossip] This Presidential Candidate really wants women on their side. Famous women. To that end, their team has been calling and emailing and texting famous actresses and singers to try and gain their endorsement. It’s not going so well.

No matter how famous [Candidate] is, we’re not having much luck getting the kind of response we want.

Around 90% of the contacts we make won’t even respond back, and for the the rest we just get a polite “No” from their agent or manager or publicist. They say that their client is too busy or not committed to any one candidate yet or isn’t even registered to vote.

Whatever. I’ve heard every excuse you can imagine. This is not going the way we thought it would.

    Candidate: Hillary.

I think the Clinton camp actually thought the first female presidential candidate would actually have women everywhere, and celebrities especially, running forward to endorse her. It’s been quite their surprise that so few are committed.

Also, I’m leaning towards writing in my own name. Not one of these candidates seems worthy of my vote.

This has to be Trump. The clue says “famous” – why would you describe any other political candidate in this fashion? Hillary and Bernie have at lease a few famous people each, neither would be despairing over lack of ladies in their court. Meanwhile, Trump has been accused of misogyny multiple times so he seems the most likely to want famous women on team!trump.

And Trump willingly stood next to Sarah Palin and let her prattle one while barely looking like he could tolerate it. I don’t think he would have done that if he had more palatable choices.

It could be any of the republican candidates but I’ll put my guess as Trump. Anyone looking for an honest politician will be waiting a long time, none are honest. If truth be told Hillary is your best bet, she is the most experienced candidate, which is important. Those of you who think Donald is the answer you really need to think a bit harder about that. governments are being petitioned to prevent him being allowed to enter their countries, you have to realize you’ll be cast adrift,…

    It’s Trump.

and I’m voting for Sanders. 100% Not every dream he has is going to make it through Congress, but he’s headed in the right direction and he actually cares about our country…not himself…like Trump!

  7. worldsoldestkitten says

Not Trump — he has the Grizzly Mama (blarg) supporting him. My guess is Cruz, because I have yet to meet a single female who likes him. Failing that, Hillary.

Me? I just switched parties after a lifetime in the GOP so I can vote for Bernie in the primaries. I’m feeling the Bern, baby!

If the famous women are from music or hollywood I doubt they would give Trump or any other republican a “polite no”. This is a democrat, and since the author went out of their way to use gender non-specific pronouns, and Hillary is scrambling to shore up support she has lost to Sanders it has to be her.

Lena Dunham likes her, can’t think of any others. Either they’re supporting Sanders like Susan Sarandon or keeping quiet until the primary is over.

This is 100% Hillary! Long time lurker, first time commenting. Read on DM yesterday about fundraiser in NYC at spin cycle that was a total bust. Seats were to be a $2,400 donation and such bad turn out, they sent update for $50 seats and still many open spots. Plus Susan Sarandon blasted her yesterday and supports Bernie.

    Candidate: Jeb!

I am at a loss as to whom I can support with confidence, at this point. I am so disillusioned with the candidates who are running in this election that it is stressing me out to no end, particularly with the issues of terrorism, the need to close the borders and to properly vet anyone coming to the United States from a foreign country , and the dwindling economy and loss of industry.

    • bamazalea says

      January 29, 2016 at 1:50 pm

Yeb! is not for closing any border. He is in cahoots w/CofC and they want amnesty because that will equal cheap labor. Don’t let this stress you. This is the process for weeding them out. Do your homework on all the candidates and keep in mind that almost everything you read or hear about a candidate is biased in one way or another. Follow the money, it will tell you a lot.

Why not look for women know what it is like to live from payday to payday, who work for a living and come home to cook and clean and do laundry while helping kids with homework, getting kids ready for bed and then finally fall into bed dead tired, just to get up and start over again?

    Candidate: Hillary

Not leaning towards anyone that is currently a candidate. I think that if Mitt Romney were to be “drafted” I would jump aboard that train. The GOP candidates remind me of the clown car at the circus where the clowns just keep rolling out of the car. On the Democrat side there’s Bernie Sanders who reminds me of the absent minded professor, and then there’s Hillary. Hillary Clinton who, in 1 year from now, could wake up in either the White House or “Club Fed”.

I agree, it is a sad state when we cannot even produce one honest, deserved, and trustworthy candidate. Why anyone would side with Hilary is a mystery to me – besides the nefarious activities, she can’t even control her own husband, how will she run a country? At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter who gets elected President while our Congress is a bunch of stubborn, self-serving babies whose refusal to cooperate will just continue to impede any sort of progress. Peace out!

You do realize that if Bernie wins, YOUR taxes will go up too, don’t you?? Even if he taxes the rich 100% of their earnings, it is not enough to pay for all of the free things he wants to give away….Look at Venezuela…that is what we will be. Hillary is a lying crook. WHY would you want someone who is such a liar to become president?? I hope Hillary gets the nomination too, because she will get slaughtered by whomever runs against her….

      Well, since you started..
You do realize that the services that the taxes will pay for are going to the taxpayers, right? I imagine not, since you wrote that comment. The money is going to pay for things FOR the taxpayers. Things you actually need, in stead of letting billionaires collect huge piles of cash and watch the rest of the country burn. Now they’ll just get big piles in cash in stead of huge. Everyone’s taxes will go up, but people who earn the most will be paying percentually more.

well, let’s see. What makes you think your guys are so hot? Rubio is a closet case, Christie basically killed people by shutting down that bridge, Bush has nothing going for him but his name, Cruz is the most hated man in the senate, Carson wants to tax people based on a biblical tithing system, Fiorina sent tens of thousands of jobs oversees, Trump is a buffoon, and all of them want to take rights away from half of America’s citizens….

      Good luck.

This election is going to be about “Change” just like the 2008 election was. Unless there is a major 3rd Party challenger, the only Republican that Hillary would beat would be Bush. Everyone else would ride the “Change” momentum to victory over her. Sanders has less than a 0% chance of winning because the electorate already thinks that Obama and the Dems moved too far to the Left; they aren’t going to vote to go even further Left.

    • mbs59er says

To Cloudy: Whenever a politician promises that they will only tax a certain portion of the public, they are lying. The income tax was sold to the public by Woodrow Wilson as only affecting the top earners as well. All tax increases feed the government hunger for more tax increases. What Democrats fail to realize is that the public will not support another tax increase until there is more accountability for the money that is already being collected.

I agree with you, wendybar. People want taxes to be turned around to benefit them, rather than benefit the rich. But people don’t realize that politicians have done an excellent job of distracting the general public by pitting the rich against the poor while they refuse to approve term limits for themselves and instead sneakily vote themselves raises while we’re distracted with class wars. If you work your a$$ off and earn a decent salary, why should your hard-earned money benefit welfare…

This comment clearly comes from Hillary. She is attempting to energize women voters by making her campaign a cause, instead of about continuing Obama’s policies or about her serial dishonesty. Anyone who thinks that this is from a Republican knows absolutely nothing about the GOP and the way that they think. Almost no one in the GOP gives a rip about what any celebrity thinks or supports.
As of now I don’t have a favorite, but I think that Rubio will eventually end up winning.

To Valfunde and anyone else who is “Feeling the Bern”: Do you just think that the rules and laws that a Socialist would force upon society wouldn’t apply to you? Socialism is a system designed to create only two classes; the Ruling Class and the Working Class. Socialism creates a system where the middle class is drained and made poor in order to fund the Working Class. Eventually the State runs out of money to provide all of the…
