[Blind Gossip] This celebrity has achieved great success in Hollywood by doing it all: acting, directing, producing. Likable. Rich.

They are now being pushed to run for President!

But there’s a problem.

Everyone keeps encouraging them to run. They would have a good chance of winning, too. There’s one huge barrier. They are actually in the closet and oppo research would turn up their gay history in five minutes.

Oppo research = opposition research, which is the professional digging that candidates do on each other prior to an election.

So, that basically leaves three choices. Stay in the closet and don’t run. Stay in the closet and run. Come out of the closet and run.

    It has to be Oprah. The blind makes a point not to say s/he which usually means it’s a woman. Besides she has been asked for years if she would run for POTUS. I think she should just be herself, be “authentic” as she preaches. The thing is, it has long been assumed she’s gay, and it wouldn’t be a surprise to anyone if she came out as gay.

    Agree that it is George Clooney. The tip off was the word “rich”. Most who find success out there are…but his Casamigos Tequila puts him in a whole other stratosphere.

    At first i thought Clooney but he once said he wouldn’t go into politics because of too many nights of waking up in strangers bed or something like that. Yet I don’t think Clooney is out and out gay maybe bisexual . If this is Oprah I would say she better avoid running. Professional politicians with gerrymandered states would tear her up . There have been a few gains for the Progressives since 2016 but USA still isn’t secular and open minded enough yet to accept a gay Candidate.

    What exactly is her plan to stop Social Security and Medicare from going bankrupt by 2030? And how will she bail out all the bankrupt states & cities (CA, IL, NJ, NYC . . .) that won’t be able to pay their ridiculous public employee pensions?

    Oprah. It would be incredibly insulting to the LGBTQ community. We’re “out” why can’t she be? Is she going to have to admit that Hollywood is still that homophobic? I thought they were our superior moral compasses? Isn’t that what her friend Harvey Weinstein told us they were? She’s a complete, totally phony hypocrite…which makes her the perfect candidate for the Democrats. Stick hit-and-run Beto with her for VP and it’s a cinch to win the Democratic nomination.

    Good grief. Look at the mess we have right now with an inexperienced celeb in the White House. Our country needs to heal & we need an experienced politcian (e.g., governor or Congressman/woman) in charge.

    The first person who comes to mind is Oprah. I disagree that she would have a good chance of winning. In fact, I think just about anyone coming out of Hollywood would not have a chance to win the White House.

    Oprah. Oppo research even sounds like her name, not that anyone needs help on this one.

    Optional: I’d go with none of your choices. My advice? Come out AND don’t run. The closet kills, period. She’d be a better president than the orange buffoon ofc but I’d rather see an actually qualified political candidate, personally.

    What should he do? Pay off the previous partners, then let Mueller sift through his life, and the lives of anyone he knows. Mueller loves an investigation in search of a crime and loves putting away people who won’t tell him what he wants to hear.

    George Clooney…I would advise them not to run, being a successful filmmaker who is likeable and rich are no qualifications for running the U.S., IMHO.

    John Krasinski is an actor, producer and director. He’s also married to Emily Blunt and has 2 kids, so I don’t know if it would be him.

    Oprah, of course – the only celeb who’s toyed with running who’s likeable and anyone would claim has “a good chance of winning” (though not IRL – only in the Hollywood bubble). I’ve cheered her success, but I’m tired of people thinking President is a “job” you can just “figure out”. Run for local office and learn how gov’t works and how appropriations work, maybe run a Federal agency with a $100 BILLION budget – and learn Federal regulations- and THEN we can talk. Otherwise, sit…

    Stay in the closet.. and stay in your lane. Politics is a very different beast from Hollywood. Both are vicious in their own right. Being center stage on the world stage ain’t like a Hollywood sound stage.

    If she wants to run, she should come out of the closet, although pretending to be straight for 20+ years could damage her credibility.

    Oh please, NOT George Clooneymoon! He’s seen as a pompous joke by so many! Plus he is perceived as being very far, far from the everyman, despite his desire of how to tell us how to live. In fact, Amal and he come off rather like Louis the XVI and Marie Antoinette.

    Optional: I’d laugh and tell him all of the above. He needs a good dose of reality.

      Everything about recent changes in Clooney’s life seem to point toward a political career. Why be a bachelor for years if you are closeted and then suddenly marry Amal and pop out twins? He doesn’t need it for his acting career. It had to be politically motivated. Amal is a wannabe political wife but they seem SO phony to me!
