Juicy Soap

December 6, 2016 Blind Gossip

man-shower-2[Serial Scoop] In the world of daytime soap operas, the drama isn’t always in front of the camera. And sometimes it’s so juicy the names can’t be revealed, at least not yet.

1. This performer who didn’t take the hint that he/she needed acting lessons, is out the door once his/her contract expires in the next couple of months.

2. This performer is currently in the middle of a major front burner story. However, if his/her attitude doesn’t improve, he/she will be without a job soon.

3. This performer desperately wants back on his/her old show. Although it seems possible now based on recent story, it’s not going to happen for him/her. People have long memories.

4. This performer turned down a recent invitation to return to his/her show for a guest appearance. He/she didn’t like that the projected story didn’t revolve around his/her character.

    1. Ryan Paevey as Nathan West on GH. Only if you know people will you actually know about this one.

    2. Darin Brooks as Wyatt Spencer on B&B. I am not really sure about this guess.

    3. Michael Muhney as Adam Newman on Y&R. The memory includes the sexual harassment of a fellow co-star and he’s never coming back.

    4. Alison Sweeney as Sami Brady on Days. I have not watched the show in months. It could also be Vanessa Marcil from GH as Brenda Barrett.

Can only guess on number 3 – Michael Muhney as Adam on Y&R. Justin Hartley was a great replacement but I would love to see Michael come back as Adam. Although I heard that him and Eric Braeden hate each other, that totally lended itself to the storyline of the tortured Father/Son relationship between them! Don’t think it will happen unless he swears he will be an absolute angel if they take him back. EB wouldn’t have it I think.

Men on the soaps is too dramatic to seem sexy. But, I love James Scott! He’s sexy and like me he thought women that get so into soaps are silly. lol

I can remember the very first scene of the very first episode of Y & R. Some cute guy was knocking on the door of the main family at the time, the Brooks residence.

Do not have a guess, I don’t watch soaps any more after the massacre of All My Children and One Live To Live. I will never forgive ABC for that. I have never watched any more ABC daytime since then either.

no idea on any of these questions, i just logged in to shout out the best soap of all time: All My Children. I grew up on this soap. Favorite character is Ms Erica Kane, with Adam Chandler a close 2nd. I used to think that I was going to grow up and marry 8 different men like Erica. lol

I LOVED All My Children, and keep hoping one day I’ll see a blind or an announcement saying somehow, someway, they brought it back to life! I miss all of those characters so so much!

I haven’t watched soaps since the 1990s, so I have no guesses. But my favorite actors/characters were the late Michael Zaslow as Roger on The Guiding Light and Eric Braeden as Victor Newman on Y & R. As a small child in the ’70s, I would pretend to be napping but instead sneak to the top of the stairs to peek and watch the CBS soaps that my mom had on downstairs. 🙂
