Interesting Custody Clause

[Blind Gossip] This two-celebrity couple is settling out the custody issues around their contentious divorce. There is one very interesting directive that is part of the negotiations.

There are restrictions about him using absolutely no drugs and no alcohol when he has the kid/s. That’s not shocking, but there’s also one clause that surprised me. Basically, one of her rules is that when he has the kid/s, he can’t bring hook*rs or esc*rts or those kind of women around. She knows he uses them but she doesn’t want the kid/s exposed to that.

    I think this is Robin Thicke and Paula Patton. She went to court not too long ago to complain about Robin’s drinking and the women he has around Julian.

    Hmm, aside from the mention of “divorce”, I really feel like this is Uma Thurman and Arpad Busson. Their contentious custody battle has been in the news, complete with talk of substance abuse and hookers. Only they never married. Engaged, yes. Actually married, no.

    Can’t be Angie and Brad. Angie is a bigger drug user than Brad. Brad’s drug of choice is pot….and he’s not an alcoholic. Brad also doesn’t hire prostitutes. That’s what nannies are for.

    Clues: the broken heart (she wears a shirt with this emblem and it gets lots of comments) and SadAffleck – the downturned mouth (the numerous gifs and memes about SadAffleck abound).

    He and Casey grew up with a dad who had serious problems and who knows what all they were exposed to and learned from while they were very impressionable. Hard to break that cycle.

    Those are totally reasonable conditions to be honest. Kids are very impresssionable and get attached really fast. It’s not a good enviroment for them.

    If this is Angelina and Brad, I hope Brad has a clause saying that she can’t use drugs either. Frankly, her alleged behaviors concern me more than do Brad’s. She should be required to undergo a thorough mental health evaluation before having the children unsupervised, in my opinion, and her parental alienation games need to stop. I agree about not wanting the kids around hookers and escorts. Maybe this isn’t Brangelina…surely Brad could get a non-working girl.

    Who else is getting divorced these days ? I will have to guess Brad . People wonder why even the hunkiest of Celebrity Males do this ? The Pre Internet Acronym term— WHAM.     Completely reasonable, but what is she changing? Is she receiving help for her probable eating disorder/possible addiction? Those kids have been exposed to unhealthy habits from both parents.

    No, it’s not at all excessive to expect a parent in charge of a child’s well-being to be un-drugged and not playing around with a hooker. He can do that on his own alone time. Just like she can when the kid is with him! :-p

    Reasonable, I would also add that there should be no unmarried dating partners overnight when the kids are present. If ex is that interested in another around the kids in those situations. get married!

    Drugs, alcohol and hookers? At first glance one may be inclined to think Ben and Jen, but the word contentious was used, which doesn’t describe Ben and Jen at all, so obviously it’s Brad and Angie.

      I’m thinking the drug and alcohol abuser who pays for companionship is the REAL trash here. Perhaps it would be more reasonable to keep their trashy dad away from them unless he cleans up his act. He sounds like a messed up individual.

    I think her conditions are not only reasonable, but what one should expect from any adult that hangs around children. I can’t believe a grown person should need to be told not to do drugs or consort with hookers around the children.

      That’s why I don’t believe it is Brad. I can’t imagine his having to be told this. Now loose cannon Ben Affleck or the Thickes, I see. I also can’t imagine Angie pushing back on Brad with this when HER drugs and sex history have been well documented and considered far WILDER than any hint of his.

    Actually, I think her requests are quite reasonable. A person using and abusing or having esc*rts in should NOT be allowed to do any of it around the kids. I don’t care if he was the handsomest person in the world, why do women put up with this nonsense, which she clearly must have if she needs to require he NOT do it now? Jeez!

    Makes perfect sense. Hookers and escorts are up there with drugs and alcohol as far as kids are concerned.

      I agree with your guess but here’s my two cents. Although totally baseless and unnecessary, AJ put that clause in for the effect it would have.
      Imagine someone walking into a room full of people and loudly asking one man, “Do you still beat your wife?” Much to his dismay the man truthfully says, “I’ve NEVER beat my wife!” Well- the asker has planted a seed and some will question the truth forever. AJ is a professional manipulator.
