Hero Jealous Of Affable Costar

June 16, 2016 Blind Gossip

man annoyed 5[Mid Day] Although his last film did not work wonders at the box office, this good looking actor has been on the radar of ace filmmakers for his acting chops. But, of late, he has been a bit jittery about sharing the limelight with a fellow actor of his upcoming film.

A source says:

The script focuses on his character and so, he was fine with the presence of other actors in the film. However, after the film’s trailer was unveiled, one of his co-actors has been getting a lot of attention. The co-actor’s role is said to be pretty powerful too, and that’s making this gentleman uncomfortable and tense.

Even when the shoot was underway, the actor was not too happy that the crew members were giving the other actor a lot of attention. Adds the source:

The co-actor was friendly with the unit folk as well as locals at the shooting site. So, the crew became fond of him while the locals would gather around the sets to meet this affable actor and click pictures with him. This did not go down well with the main hero and he would try different tricks to entertain the crowd around the set.

How about Charlie Hunam for the hero and Robert Pattinson for the affable actor? Lost City of Z for the movie.

I also like the Anthropoid guess!

Someone said Cillian Murphy & Jamie Dornan for “Anthropoid”, and that was my first guess too.

But because of some of the clues (“radar” for “Finest Hours” and “Ace” maybe for ace pilot Kirk), I’m guessing Chris Pine as the main actor, Ben Foster as the affable guy, and the movie is “Hell or High Water.”

Chris Pine’s “Finest Hours” lost millions at the box office, and though Pine has top billing in “Hell or High Water”, it looks like Foster has room to shine as well.

Hero Actor: Dwayne The Rock Johnson? He was in the Jem and the Holograms huge flop film.

Affable Co-star: Is it Aaron Paul who prior to this was getting a lot of praise for The Path, it was considered one of his best performance. It’s last few episodes were in May 2016, so that might with when the trailer dropped, approximately month before release?

I am likeable? It depends on whether I think the person/people I am with are likeable. Lol.

despite the description of him as “good looking,” I think this is supposed to be Jesse Eisenberg.

last film, which flopped: Now You See Me 2
“wonders”: Batman v Superman, which featured Wonder Woman
“ace”: card tricks in both Now You See Me films
    “jittery”: stars in Cafe Society

I’m guessing the affable actor is Steve Carell, who’s also in Cafe Society. JE is the main character but SC is in the first several shots of the trailer

can anyone figure out if “chops” and/or…

Actually, all of Hemsworth’s films have bombed, except where he plays Thor. Rush did okay, but less than great in the U.S. Hiddleston is an excellent TRAINED actor (not someone from an Aussie soap. Tom has a great future, and I hope he becomes 007.

I would think maybe Liam Hemsworth and Woody Harrelson for “The Duel” but the acting chops clue doesn’t fit, does it?

And talking about Chris Pratt, he’s been in pretty succesful films, people are mentioning Jem & the Holograms but did you see the movie? I did and I don’t remember him, like maybe he did a lil’ cameo but I don’t remember him at all.

I’m thinking backwards, With Denzel Washington being the Hero and Chris Pratt being the affable actor for The Magnificent Seven

Movie: Independence Day: Resurgence. If you watch the “official” trailer, Liam’s character, which supposed to be the protagonist and the hero, has equal screen time with Jessie’s and not even a speaking part (Jessie does speak).

Clue: “Didn’t go down”=”Down Under, Australia.”

I doubt that at the moment Chris Pratt has anything to fear from anyone.

An d, Nathan Fillion affable? He may be many things, but affable no longer seems appropriate. Perhaps you missed him stabbing his co-star in the back, dispensing with the original show runner and his big ego being credited with tanking his series.

(Please see solved blind item — from April of this year — something like “Shoots Self in Foot.”
