Flattering But Unprofessional

[Blind Gossip] This young singer is freaking out over an experience she had that she thought was very private.

Our singer was at a rehab center. Of course, she doesn’t call it rehab. She calls it a retreat or counseling or a vacation or whatever.

While she was there, a member of the staff hit on her. She was sort of flattered but knew it was sort of unprofessional. Anyways, after what happened to him, she is now worried that people are going to find out about her experience with him.

To be clear, we don’t know if the singer actually got involved with the staff member or not.

What happened to him that now has her worried? He was recently fired for having an inappropriate relationship with a different patient!

    Been there done that. While in Betty Ford, I was hit on by a damn good looking counselor. But instead I opted to marry a fellow patient… no need to post comments about this stupidity. I own it. And the %^*##< wedding band tattoo I got that is being lasered off on the monthly. 13th step is a diversion to focusing on healing ones self. Mental note: how you meet someone is how you lose them. Lost my ex husband to drugs. Big shocker, I know. Live and learn.

    Demi Lovato. A staff member recently got in trouble at the rehab center in IL for inappropriate relationships with patients.

    Girls, the night has a thousand eyes, cameras are everywhere, few men are able to resist hookups, nor were they raised to be gentlemen. You are in charge of your own reputation. You lose your own virtue…nobody takes it from you. This has to be Demi.

    I am assuming this is Demi Lovato. Isn’t she at a “retreat” every other year or so?

    I’m not sure what she is worried about. Who would even care if it was found out that the counselor hit on her? He is now fired.
    She is a young woman with many problems. I don’t think this tiny blip on the radar would surprise most people.

    That’s waaaaaaaay more inappropriate, it’s illegal and abusive. He’s a predator and he preys on vulnerable people in treatment. He’s using his position to poach patients. The guy should never work with patients in any capacity as he has demonstrated a gross lack of boundaries, ethics and his needs are clearly more important than the patients. This turns people off to potentially life-saving treatment because of abusive * like this.

    Selena Gomez? She’s the only singer that I can think of who calls her rehab stints other things besides what they actually are.

    She shouldn’t do anything unless her name gets brought up.

    They should report him immediately- what he did was unethical and he took advantage of these women when they were vulnerable and trying to get focused on their recovery.

    A toss up between Lovato and Gomez. Let’s go with Lovato, since Gomez seems to have been behaving since her breakdown.

    What should she do? Well, since he’s already been fired for the same reason, then she isn’t really obligated to say anything, if she doesn’t wish to, as he won’t be hitting on vulnerable young patients again. So it’s her choice to stay silent or not.

    No idea on the singer.
    She needs to report his behavior at once. This creep violated a vulnerable person. He needs to never be in a job that requires patient contact.

    Bad stuff. The singer should do nothing. I’ve little compassion for all these self proclaimed “victims” in today’s world, but this girl was truly Victimized.
