Dumb And Dramatic

The show was originally supposed to be several intelligent women sitting around a table and talking about current events in an entertaining way. Not any more!

The original premise dissolved into a baffling parade of hosts who were either bright and boring or dumb and dramatic. It’s just a talk show version of The Real Housewives at this point. I’m embarrassed to tell people I work here.

Well, if they are traveling down the dumb and dramatic route, they might want to seriously consider the offer of this former child-star-turned-drama-queen. We hear that she has contacted them for the past two or three seasons to ask if she can join the show as a regular panelist!

She would actually be the perfect host. She’s uneducated, but she thinks she’s really smart and insightful, and she likes to hear herself talk. Plus she would definitely bring the drama!

    Very late to the B.I. shindig….again! But my guess is Lindsay Lohan too. She’s broke, her once promising career is now a joke. What foolish bloke would hire intellectual lightweight Lohan? Can’t Lindsay find an actual wealthy man..and retire from her misguided publicity stunts? Maybe Janet Jackson’s handsome hubby has an available brother, relative or friend Lohan could hook-up with.

    I thought of Lohan while I read this Blind, then MaryQuiteContrary suggested Tori Spelling, which also makes sense. I think of those two, Lohan fits the blind better. But then I read the similar blind, and it’s about Tamar Braxton; could this be about her, too? Hmmm….

      Clue: “the next candidate” indicating her spewing constantly on politics as a “commentator” on Fox.

      She only has a high school diploma, so could be considered “uneducated”

      And she definitely would bring the drama!

    I Think this is about the show “The View”. I live in Germany and havent ever seen it but I heard that Raven Simone recently quit the show…. Im guessing the former child star MUST be Lindsay Lohan and I would probably watch for the drama if I can find a stream online.

    Melissa was previously vocal about being a Republican but this year has spoken about her views on needing stricter gun controls and Gary Johnson

    I don’t watch it – I would watch it, only if they brought back Elisabeth – Elisabeth, Candace and Melissa on one panel would be like a train-wreck of stupid (and I’m not implying they are stupid because they are Christian or conservative – just that all 3 are insufferable twits)

    Do I watch the show? No. I’ve tried watching it a few times and my brain shuts off. If Monica joined the show, I still couldn’t watch it. I think Mario Cantone would be a better co-host. Someone quick-witted who can call these dumb women out. I’d watch that.

    The View, Lindsay Lohan. Don’t watch the show, too much idiocy from the likes of Candace Bure and Raven Symone. A coked-out, hot-mess Lindsay Lohan definitely isn’t going to change my mind, but I nevertheless wish her the best and hope that being on the show will at least be the one positive thing in her life.

      I have to admit I don’t watch but I would SO tune in to see how the implosion behaves. You never see Lohan just giving her opinion and maybe a real gig would get this girl off turning tricks with Sheiks. She DID have talent she has squandered. Either from the wild novelty point of view or to see her pull a Drew Barrymore and get back on track, it would make for interesting tv.

    Keisha Knight Pulliam is the child star that wants Ravens spot. I haven’t watched this show in years. Keisha doesn’t interest me in the least, so no I wouldn’t watch if it is her.

      KKP may be dumb but she’s actually educated, has a college degree. I vote Lohan, she’s desperate for money and attention. I’d probably watch because there’s zero chance she wouldn’t self destruct in a matter of days or weeks.

      Given that she’s a rare child actor with a college degree, I have a hard time believing they would refer to her as uneducated. Otherwise, it’s a believable guess.

      OMG, I was thinking Lohan (she’s really more of a child star than Tori), but Tori totally makes sense in this! I never thought about this before, but now I’m surprised that she’s never been asked to be on the show because it really is nothing but reality-calibur crap now. I have to assume Tori never works anymore because she’s too demanding/hard to get along with. TBH, though, Lohan would likely draw more viewers than Tori.

    Please please don’t be Lindsay Lohan (Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen).

    I was faithful to the show when I was an undergrad living in a studio apartment and it came on at 5:00am. I try to watch but I can’t stand Ms I-know-everything-Goldberg, but I do watch when she’s not there.

    Thank God Raven announced her leaving the show to exec prod That’s So Raven 2 (“working title”). So now they want another Disney child star gone weird? Queue up, Selena.
