on off switch[Blind Gossip] Friends of this acclaimed young film actress are actually a little worried that she is engaged. They tell us that her relationship with her fiance has been so on-and-off over the years that they are concerned that she simply took a leap during one of the “on” phases.

She may seem mature, but she has actually had a very sheltered life. We don’t hate the guy. We just think that he is controlling and taking advantage of the fact that she is so much younger and so much more emotional.

Basically, they wish that she had a little more room and time to grow up, and are hoping that she doesn’t rush down the aisle before the relationship cycles back to “off.”

    The rocker that she is engaged to is clearly a poser. The edginess that he tries to convey, is belied by his obvious nose job. He is vain and probably trying to use her notoriety. He is faux cool.

    At what age do you think most girls are mature enough to marry? Depends on the woman. Some are mature enough to marry in their early twenties, and some don’t mature mentally/emotionally until much later. There is no ‘one size fits all’.

    Theres no right age. Everyone is different. Some people are happy being domestic & monogamous at 22 some not til 42, some not ever. Its not about your age but about finding the right partner and being emotionally mature.

    I had no idea who this was until I read the replies…and laughed. If this is Brie Larson, she is 26 years old!!! I married at 22 and had my second baby at her age. I’ve been married 15 years. She will be fine and get a divorce when marriage becomes hard or boring just like most Hollywood celebs and couples in general 😉

    I was 25 when I married. Another friend was 21 and another is getting married (first) at 43. I think it depends on if you’ve found the right person. Going blank on acclaimed actresses who are engaged on and off. At first I thought Miley, but she’s hardly an acclaimed actress and def not mature enough for marriage.

    Anything younger than 28-30 is too young to marry. Until then people usually aren’t completely settled in their lives and run a huge risk of growing in different directions.

      That’s kind of an unfair blanket statement. I married at 21, am still happily married at 39, and wouldn’t change a thing.
      I think when you know, you know and there’s little point waiting.

      I agree with this statement too. Of course there are exceptions to the rule, but in this day and age don’t marry too young. If you need to, stay dating until you’ve figured out where you want to be and what you want to do first.
