Cruel Prescription

prescriptions 1[Blind Gossip] Someone is shopping around photos of medications. The prescription drugs supposedly prove that a famous black talk show host is HIV-positive. The seller is saying that the host has actually been ill for many years, and that they have changed doctors several times to obtain their prescriptions.

The seller is demanding money up front. We could not get confirmation that the photos are real and actually owned by the person who is selling them, so we could not pursue their claim any further. If the photos are real, someone will probably pay for them and they will pop up somewhere. If not, it’s a very cruel hoax on an unsuspecting celebrity.

    Victim: Michael Strahan? I remember the multicolor (maybe gay) reference in a previous blind about him and Kelly, so maybe this is a possibility?

    This is a little off topic, but I feel obligated to say that I would never hide the fact that I take antidepressants and anti-anxiety medication. I’m not trying to pat myself on the back for this, but the fact that it is still stigmatized is a huge problem. The only way I can ever pay forward the help that I was lucky enough to get at is to own up to it and to speak about it at any opportunity without coming across in a preachy way. Thanks for the space to share this.

      I feel the same way. I’m bipolar and have no issue saying I am. Look through my medicine cabinet away!

      I also have serious chronic health problems so I have pain medications, not ashamed, but don’t touch my meds! Lol

    Of course not ..they can see my toothpaste, deodorant, Tylenol, and cortisone creams for my eczema if they so desire.

      Me too. The obvious assumption is Arsennio due to crazy Sinead’s recent comments but I don’t know- leaving out the gender makes me wonder too if it’s a female host.

    I hope it’s a hoax. It’s probably Sinead O’Connor shopping the pics around.

    Optional: My depression/anxiety meds. Not ashamed of them, but the stigma that comes with them isn’t desirable. I take them for a hormone disorder I have and for anxiety.

      Trying to hide anxiety is a losing battle. I did it for months and it was devastating. When I finally could not hide it anymore and “came out” to my family and coworkers it turned out about half the people I know suffer from some form of anxiety! My particular disorder is panic attacks. Having everyone know and share with me their coping mechanisms and knowing I could come to them when I couldn’t cope is what gave me the strength to overcome. No judgment from me either way. Whatever…

    Why do people have to be so cruel?
    Can’t they realize how much emotional pain this could inflict on someone?
    This really hurts my heart to read.
    Whether the person has it or not, they have my sympathy.
    So cruel.

    ARSE-SIN-E-O HALL disappeared a long time and looks like hell.He was very close to Prince and Magic.I believe Sinead’s accusations.Mr. Hall has no talent and is a real troll,yet he got VIP’S on his horrible show. Candy is great bait.I bet he did it all,twice.

      Really, looks like hell? I think he looks pretty damn good for 60. They’re simply trying to tarnish Prince’s legacy and I will never believe he was a vegan, devout Jehovah’s Witness drug addict. Sorry, not buying it. And thus, I am not buying Sinead’s claims. She’s being sued to the tune of $5 million so we’ll see how this plays out.

    Because of Sinead O’Connor accusing Arsenio Hall of supplying Prince with drugs, I’m going to go with Arsenio.

    I’m not sure about all of this, though, because I was convinced that Prince was the subject of your other blind about a black artist who had AIDS and it isn’t turning out to be true after all.

      Why is it turning out to be not true? Just because they’re not talking about in mainstream media doesn’t mean it isn’t true. First of all, mainstream media was completely bought up corporate interests years ago, so they are no longer “free press”. They only cover what the government and Powers That Be allow them to cover. Secondly, if he did have AIDS, his family and others who benefit financially from Prince’s death, are probably working very hard to keep it under wraps.

      Everything they are saying about Prince still fits with an AIDS diagnosis. The chef reporting the declining appetite and stomach pain is consistent. People with AIDS are in extreme pain like people with cancer. The increased Percocet usage is understandable if he was experiencing increased excruciating pain and was taking as many pills as he could to stop the pain. In the end his family wants you to remember him as a drug addict and not someone with AIDS.

      Actually, AIDS is never the cause of death. One can die of AIDS-related complications, but AIDS itself (which is a syndrome and not as neatly defined as some would think but essentially indicates that the body has been more ravaged by HIV) only weakens the immune system allowing for opportunistic infections and other diseases to take over and then lead to death. So it could be that they’ll never have to say he had HIV.

      I was thinking this when I just read BLind Gossip- Montell Williams has been diagnosed with MS for years and it could be a cover up… then I read Arsenio Hall…. so it could be him…. who knows but ACE! 🙂 Can’t wait to see who solves it first!! 🙂 Prayers for all that suffers from this disease and any disease that is not curable!
