Cranky Model

[Blind Gossip] While many models would give anything to be extended an invitation to the Met Ball, this young model easily scored an invite… and then spent a good part of the evening complaining!

She was saying that she was tired of the superficiality of the fashion and beauty industry and the shallow people who only cared about her looks. She said that she would be happy to do acting full time and never have to model again.

Guess this means she thinks the acting profession is full of genuine, deep people who don’t care what you look like?

    Cara Delevigne, she of the walking fine example of putting lipstick on a pig. To this day I’m stumped as to how she ever was accepted into the modeling industry.

    Ummm, someone needs to tell Card that to be an actress you need to be able to ACT. And sister, you can’t. Easily the worst aspect of Suicide Squad. I’d be willing to bet that there was things of footage that explained the plot & character development that ended up in the editing room floor because she is a painfully bad actress

    Neither. I’d prefer to be left alone, and be able to live my life in privacy. If you have any fame, you’re constantly under a microscope…and the pressure of always having to look like you’re 21, even when you’re 60…is absolutely ridiculous.

    If I absolutely had to choose, I would be a model. You get to wear cool clothes (and maybe even keep some) and have your hair and makeup done.

    The model in the pic is a dead ringer for Cara Delevingne, so that’s my guess, since she both acts and models and is known to be a little….cranky and dead pan sarcastic.

    This is so Cara D. She’s been hanging around that Smith kid in her recent project/movie. He’s likely brain washing her to act above it all. She’s so not attractive nor a great actress. She shouldn’t bite the hand that feeds her.

    As someone who spent a decade in the fashion industry, I’d MUCH rather be an actor.

    The American acting industry is tawdry and superficial. Cara D is English. In Britain, acting is more closely associated with the stage and is more respected as an art form.

    Optional: Modeling on her level wouldn’t be bad because of the money but acting would be a little better because you can do it longer. Also, you’re basically telling stories. So I can see her point even though there are ass hats in acting too.

    I think she wants to be an actress 110%. She was never spoke of being into the model stuff in any of her interviews.
