[Blind Gossip] This handsome film actor is getting bolder about refusing his publicist’s attempts to portray him as something he is not.

We told you about his team’s cringe-worthy attempts to to shove him back into the closet to enhance his action star image. We also told you about the eye-rolling beard with whom he was set up.

Well, he dumped the beard who was making him so miserable. And he is absolutely refusing to be “assigned” another one.

While he is still not going to discuss his sexuality in interviews, at least this shows that he is getting more comfortable being himself and doesn’t feel like he needs a faux girlfriend by his side to convincingly play a macho man on the big screen.

Good for him!

    Shot in the dark, but maybe Keanu Reeves. I’ve heard for years he was gay (some say bi), but don’t know about a recent beard.

    Don’t think this is Chris Evans, I know some people who grew up with him in Boston and he sounds pretty straight.

    Luke Evans. He came out, then went back in when he started getting big. But now he’s macho manly Gaston which made mucho box office $$$, he might be more comfortable coming out again. And staying out.

    Luke Evans? Though I’m not sure because he hasn’t been with a beard since about 2014 I think? The blind here seems more recent.

    I don’t know who this is but I just want to point out that gay men can be as masculine as straight men. Ian McKellen and Ricky Martin are not effeminate.

    Im thinking Zac Efron cuz he is only actor i read about recently ( on here i think…?) that was fighting/having issues with monetary/compensation with his alleged beard Sami Miro (sp?)
    But similar blind for some reason is making me think the actors in this blind is just a little older. Not sure. So ill stick with Zachy for $500 Ace-Alex!

      i just realized i forgot 2address the squeezing him “back?” in the closet. COME AGAIN, SAY WHAT?? How the fudge do you unsee or unknow that you did see and did know someone was or is gay. Honestly maybe it is possible because i cant think off of top of my head an “out” gay actor who now dates woman…but my memory stinks. So?? Please solve cuz im dyin’ to know who is tryn to sneak back in the closet. I wouldnt think good idea cuz its gona piss off fans who remember esp the gay ones

    What a hottie! I don’t think the studios backing his blockbuster movies will allow him to bring a boyfriend to a red carpet event as long as he’s still the main feature of a film. Too much money is riding on a film’s success to risk a backlash. Maybe after Captain America hangs up his costume and shield, handsome Chris can be true to himself.

    I don’t know if this is Zac Efron or not, but he did have an eye rolling beard, Sami Miro, so he’s my guess.

    Or maybe James Franco.

    My gaydar has never worked well. Back in the day I swore Elton John wasn’t gay, that he was just eccentric. I thought Adam Lambert was just metrosexual.

      My gayday is awful too. Everyone always said Ellen Page and Kristen Stewart were gay. I just thought they only said that because of their cool style.

    I think his Beauty and the Beast role him inspired him. Good for him. He is a good actor, as long as he is not acting really cute as a gay man, he will still get the same offers. Plus, maybe he will get less money but he will be happier in his life. I don’t think he will walk the red carpet with a boyfriend in the next five years.

    The only two potential candidates I could think of are Jeremy Renner and Michael B. Jordan. It amazes me that, in this day and age, people are still afraid to be themselves.
