[Blind Gossip] It is interesting when celebrities make confessions that look like they are coming clean and telling all.

We already told you about one singer who wasn’t completely candid in her confessions.

Let’s talk about another!

This singer is trying to sell a project, too. So, of course, she is spilling secrets about her life to stir up interest.

However, our Singer left out one very, very big secret!

The coke.

We’re not talking about an occasional bump at parties. Our Singer lived for the white powder for years and years. It elevated her mood, it helped her with her weight, it gave her energy to perform.

She wasn’t alone, either. She and her husband both love the white stuff.

So our Singer did talk about the booze and the pills. However, they weren’t the biggest problem. The biggest problem was the coke.

Strange that she didn’t come clean about the powder!

    Wait a minute. Why do I feel like this is MILEY CYRUS? Her song about pills and bottles…. not mentioning coke???? Can totally see it. Is Jessica Simpson even skinny?

    Jessica Simpson. Wasn’t she paid millions to be the spokes person for Weight Watchers a few years ago? If she was using coke to lose the weight then it sure wasn’t from dieting. I think this is why she is not talking about coke addiction.

    When she said giving up alcohol was “easy” I knew that couldn’t be her primary addiction and it was a cover because alcohol addiction might not seem as bad as a drug problem.

    Like everyone else is saying the stigma…but the stigma is there because it’s the only one that’s illegal! Obviously alcohol isn’t a crime, neither are the pills since she likely had a Rx for them. Not saying it’s okay that she abused either substances but…Coke is clearly illegal no matter how you look at it.

    She probably doesn’t mention the coke for various reasons…protecting her kids, her religious upbringing, etc. Plus alcohol and pills are much less stigmatised for some reason

    A) Maybe she figures confessing to the booze and pills will be dirty enough to sell the book without having to divulge all the real dirt. Plus middle America will forgive and forget those habits much quicker. She gets to keep (or regain which ever way you look at it) her clean county image. Also their children…

    Coke is illegal, while booze isn’t and pills are prescribed by a doctor so people think it’s not as bad. Drug abuse is drug abuse.

    I think people are more forgiving when it comes to booze and pills. Coke, not so much.

    She doesn’t mention coke because no one will have sympathy for coke whereas liquor is legal and people can have sympathy for pills because so many get hooked through legal means i.e. prescriptions.

    I’m sober after serious addiction issues myself so this isn’t judgement… but it is absolutely BONKERS to me that it’s totally cool to tell a story about how you drank daily with two toddlers in the house to the point you don’t remember who put their Halloween costumes on……… but you can’t say, “So I started doing cocaine to even things out and then that got out of control too because CLEARLY I AM AN ADDICT & COULD PROBABLY GET ADDICTED TO DRINKING MOTOR OIL.” LOL just saying.

    Probably bc there is a lot more stigma against coke in comparison with alcohol & prescription pills. Cocaine is a hardcore drug. I’m sure with her conservative background she doesn’t want her kids to ever find out she was doing blow while they were little. Maxwell is old enough now to be affected by info like that.

    Obviously Jessica Simpson, who confessed to being on “diet pills” for years – perhaps that is a euphemism in her mind for coke.

    Cocaine is too controversial to confess to. Somehow it is OK to go to rehab for pills or alcohol, but cocaine and other things like heroin are not very fun to picture the celebrity doing (also, they are illegal vs. alcohol).

    Idk she chose not to fess up to the coke addiction as well if she’s already talking about alcohol and pills. Maybe because she thinks coke would be considered more of a party drug and would lessen sympathy and affect her book sales?

    I don’t think it’s necessary for her to list each and every one of her vices. For many addicts, they will use whatever drug they can get their hands on. The fact that she speaks of addiction and alcoholism is more than enough of our business. It’s great to hear she’s doing well.

      Agree. Booze is fairly acceptable and pills can be sympathetic if it’s “self medication” because of a traumatic life (i.e., her sexual abuse). But coke is basically viewed as a straight-up recreation activity. And maybe in this case it was simply recreational

      No coincidence that “relatability” is also one of the first steps when marketing a product – Being relatable to your targeted consumer base dramatically increases sales.

      My guess? His paying job is corralling Jess and keeping the kids from seeing her in her booze-and-pills state. Not an easy task.

      @ Vampira, So if he were still making money playing football and she stayed home taking care of the kids and running their home would you say she does “nothing”? If it’s a full time fulfilling job for a woman why is it not for a man. Personally, If I could find an employer to pay me what they pay the men who do my job I’d be the first to ask my husband to stay home and take care of me and our home and family. (I believe he would and would do a fabulous job of it also)
