    I know a lot of folks are saying that this is Cristiano Ronaldo but his career is hardly “in limbo” He’s had one of the best years of his career.

    I think that the clues point to another athlete. Who I don’t know. And I’m not saying that I don’t think CR7 is gay or bi, just that he’s not the answer to this particular blind.

      I really think it’s about CR7, keep in mind that he recently won the champions league so the title of this bling might be a reference to that, about the “commando” line, whenever Real Madrid has pictures of their post game Cristiano appears almost nude in the locker room also in Spanish one of his nicknames is “comandante”.

      Finally the lines “career in limbo” and “rock the boat” are references to the legal problems he is currently having with Spain taxes and his vacation in…

    I don’t know who these guys are. When you refer to a big cup, would that be something like the Stanley Cup, or is it describing the size of his athletic cup?

    Did I suspect he was gay? Listen, I have the world’s worst gaydar. When Adam Lambert was on American Idol, I thought he was just metrosexual. I am surprised every day at the names of who are allegedly gay. Seems just about everyone in sports, movies, music and television might be gay. I imagine many girls’ dreams are shattered.

    But Wimbledon is going on right now… and the trophy is a pretty big cup… and one of the hits in tennis is called a pass…

      I think you’ve got it! And the clue “It’s certainly not that he usually goes commando – everyone can see that!” is because Nadal pulls the underwear out of his butt at the beginning of every serve. It’s a part of his serving routine that he’s always performed, and all tennis fans know that about him. Good call!

      It’s possible; I’ve wondered about Nadal myself (and am convinced fellow tennis legend Federer is gay), but how is Rafa’s career in limbo? He just came off a huge win at the French and moved up in the rankings. This sounds more like someone in a team sport who is on the verge of being let go or traded or possibly has an injury right now.

      Nadal’s career isn’t in limbo right now, but Ronaldo has been making noise about transferring out of Spain. Maybe that’s close enough?

    Definitely someone from NE Patriots, though Gronk again would be boring. I’ll go with Danny Amendola & Julian Edelman. Their recents pics from the zoo (or whatever it was) on Instagram are very gay. Edelman also n painted his social-media presence with rainbows after Supreme Court ruling on gay marriage.

      edelman just won the superbowl this year and his insane catch during the game sort of put him even more on the map than before. I’d say his career is far from limbo. or does limbo just mean off season?

      Impossible. This doesn’t fit at all. And even it’s true that there are gay rumours (it’s very difficult to know if they are true gay rumours of rumours created by fans of rival clubs) about both, nobody can say that Pepe is an adonis by any means

      Well, the commando part would fit b/c male swimmers obviously just wear their tiny Speedos. I’ve noticed lately in social media posts that Phelps looks absolutely miserable. I guess his career could be considered in limbo, as his swimming career is supposedly over and now he and the wife just pimp out baby Boomer for ad dollars.

      I agree. He recently did the cover for the Naked issue. Odell Beckham has been dogged by rumors for years. Maybe that’s the other ‘giant’
