[Blind Gossip] Normally, when an offer goes out for a starring role in a big film, the producers are upset if they can’t get who they want.

Not in this case!

This will be a remake of a classic film. The female lead is the most important character, so producers naturally wanted a marquee name. While they initially made an offer to this big star, the more negotiations dragged out, the more annoyed they became.

It wasn’t just the salary she wanted more of. It was everything else! Demands to limit her shooting schedule to specific days and specific hours. Demands for luxury travel, meals, and hotels, not just for [the star], but for her ridiculously large entourage. Demands for luxury trailers and specific hair and makeup people and trainers and coaches at their own exorbitant rates. Demands for a big piece of the back end.

Well, eventually producers had enough. They decided that she could take their very generous offer and shove it up her big back end. It’s not being reported that way, but that’s the way it happened.

BONUS CLUE: The actress has never won a major award for her acting.

    The picture is making me think “Who Framed Roger Rabbit”.

    However, when and if they remake “A Star Is Born”, if they cast another singer OTHER than Beyonce, it will tank. It doesn’t matter that she can’t act. That movie is about the MUSIC. She will SLAY “Evergreen”. David Foster will produce and arrange the track. Oscar and Grammy wins on lock. Beyonce was born to play this part with a song on the soundtrack being “Queen Bee”? #comeonnow

    UG! Please don’t let Beyonce ruin what Whitney did so perfectly. She and Kevin Costner had such sweet chemistry. Beyonce is a bot, dead in the head.

    It sounds exactly like the entitled, grotesquely spoiled, my-shirt-don’t-stink behavior of the appalling, talentless Demi Moore back in the day, who had a shirt hemmorhage when her hundred suitcases on a private jet were lying stacked on their sides and not standing up.

    Beyonce, I suppose, is the answer. Are they getting someone human? GOOD!

    It’s not Jennifer Lopez in Overboard, because that’s certainly not a ” classic film”. And Naomi Watts is hardly a demanding Diva type. I’m betting it’s egomaniac Beyoncé for a remake of A Star is Born. It’s too bad she’s so incapable of the dialogue and has zero acting ability, because it’s a great role. I think Jennifer Hudson would be terrific, but what do I know?

    The picture reminds me of Goldie Hawn with the sparkly dress, and “big back end” could refer to Lopez (although I think she’s got a killer body!)

    I’m going with the remake of A Star is Born

    and JLo or Beyonce – both are names attached to the movie, both have large derrieres, both are massive divas.

    I’d cast Taylor Momsen, she can act and sing and she’s gorgeous to boot.

    Male lead: Chris Evans. Don’t know if he can sing, but there is something about that guy that gives me the warm fuzzier.

    J Lo? Big back end being the clue. Also, she is always done up to the nines and I imagine she travels with a large entourage. I can’t think of anyone else in the acting world that fits “back end” (the Ks don’t count because they don’t act).

    She is also a very bad actress!!! Beyoncé can’t be or come across as anyone but Beyoncé. Horrible choice. Glad she won’t be in it.

    Which actress can both really act and really sing really well without being super annoying?? Anne Hathaway? No. Jessica Timberlake?? Definitely not. There aren’t many to choose from. They should have an open casting call for that role.

    I’m not sure what the movie is, but my guess is Jennifer Lopez as the actress. She used to be known for her big booty (which now, doesn’t even compare to the monstrous man-made booties celebrities are *buying* today).
