    Sadly, David Arquette has been open about his return to drinking, smoking weed, etc.., so doesn’t seem like this would be him as I don’t believe anyone is questioning his sobriety at this point. No other guesses.

    This is David Arquette.

    It is truly sad what has happened to him in the past 5 years or so and the substance abuse issues he has struggled with. And it’s almost personally creepy for me to see him like that because I have an ex, now deceased, who looked so much like him and was also an alcoholic — who ended up dying from it. So when I see David Arquette like that, it’s like looking at him directly. So, so sad……….

    David Arquette with his swollen lip. It always amazes me how these dead-beat guys have gorgeous young women on their arms. Don’t these women have any self respect? There’s more to life than money – just look how it’s ended up for poor Denise Richards.

    People are guessing David Arquette even though the word ‘humerous’ is used.

    My gut is going with Jim Carrey as he has a big ol’ beard at the moment which might be hiding something and we know he’s been through some horrible things lately, but the clues (Better off…), but I can’t see any recent appearances from him anywhere.

    Matthew Perry? He looked like his face had dropped on Graham Norton’s show recently. I thought stroke but could be a mild brain injury / nerve damage from a fall??

      Good! Not Zac. He’s a funny man, but I wondered why they didn’t say movie star. Poor David Arquette. His break-up with Monica Geller apparently hit him pretty hard… 🙂

    This answer seems weird to me, but I’m going to say John Cusack. Not sure if he’s ever had problems with sobriety, but two of the clue seem to fit.

    Better off saying nothing = better off dead and say anything?

    Please oh PLEASE, tell me it’s not Craig Ferguson! Ex late night host. He has a beard now, which might be to hide injuries. He wouldn’t want his sobriety challenged as he’s made a big part of his act. I hope I’m wrong

      I hope you’re wrong too.

      But, he had a career derailing tantrum, berating the execs at CBS for not giving him Letterman’s spot. I wouldn’t blame him for falling off the wagon after that. Maybe it was a case of drunken dialing on the first place. It doesn’t seem like the type of thing an intelligent person would’ve done sober.

      His new chat show is debuting on History Channel. I hope it works out.

    Wild guess…David Arquette? He has a busted looking kisser in recent photos. He’s had a ton of substance abuse issues in the past so I am not sure if he’s been sober. Second guess is Tom Brady. He got drunk after losing to the Broncos and Giselle made him a knuckle sandwich. Had to get the dig in there!

    With “Better Off…” Being the primary clue. Although, who would care if he started drinking or what have you? So, I am probably not correct on this one.
