Avoiding The Rat

[Blind Gossip] This adorable movie star has been dating the same man since spring. They are often seen together, walking around aimlessly or doing couple things like shopping or getting coffee.

Our actress also frequently has her beloved dog with her. But have you ever noticed his interaction with the dog?

He does not like her dog. He calls it “The Rat.” He will not carry it or walk it. He even avoids touching it.

Supposedly, he likes dogs. Just not this one.

    Love me, must love my dogs and love animals in general. Or we’d be through. End of story. I’ve been fortunate in this regard.

    j.Laws dog Pippi makes sense to me – not the kind of dog a man would usually take to – I love dogs but actually this breed would not be a favorite of mine either – I go for the big dog types – mine was a Great Pyrenees – she did not like my boyfriend so I ditched him – thought she had better taste than I did at the time.

    I just saw a picture of JLaw and boyfriend and my first thought was “they look like they’re walking without a destination”.

    I can accept a guy who tolerates my cats even if he doesn’t care for them, they’re my pets after all, but a guy who hates cats– bye

    Jennifer Lawrence’s dog Pippi makes sense. It’s a little chihuahua looking dog and chihuahuas are normally the kind of dog that gets called a rat dog. If the dog is super spoiled (it’s a celebrity dog so probably is) then it might be even more yippy and aggressiven

    I love animals and I would never mistreat one, but can’t stand little yappy or nervous dogs, which for some reason many tiny ones I encounter seem to be. Some friends of mine have a mini Yorkie who is very quiet and calm, and I don’t mind her at all, but if Lawrence’s dog has one of those “yip! yip! yip!” barks, or is nervous and jumpy, I can understand his difficulty bonding with it because I do get annoyed. (Someone on my street has named their wireless network “I hate yappy dogs”! LOL)

    If you dont like my pet that is fine. But i would absolutlely draw the line at being mean to my dog, willingly let my dog be in harms way…AKA runs outside and you dont help me catch her. Or If i ask you to feed/water her when i am not able to and you dont because you dont like my dog. I will not put up with abuse or neglect because you dont like her. I dont like my BF cat but i still feed and pet her, but Iam not attached to her. I would be sad for my BF if something happned to the cat.

    Not sure who, but it would be really annoying to date someone with a dog they had to carry with us on errands all the time. That would bother me.

    I’ll bet it’s JLaw and her little pooch. The new boyfriend sounds like a real charmer (eyeroll.). So adrunken Jen is fine but no way Jose to her little dog? Meh, he’d be gone as soon as it became clear to me that he dislikes my dog.

      Did you forget from another Blind that boyfriend has a 9″ rocket in his pants? As a boyfriend I could get over him not liking my dog with that attribute. If I was looking for husband material that’s totally something else. I’d drop BF before I’d get rid of my dog.

    At first I could only think of Joe Jonas and Sophie turner as a couple where only the female is an actor… But her dog is like a Husky looking kind of dog (big), so I can’t imagine referring to it as a “rat”, even if you didn’t like it LOL. OH! OH!

      To be honest, my Shih Tzu baby is far more charming and engaging than I am. I could NEVER trust anyone who didn’t love her.
