[TMZ] A singer has just filed a lawsuit claiming she was s*xually mol*sted when she was just 14 by her producer/agent/mentor.

The lawsuit does not mention the name of the girl or the alleged perpetrator. It claims she recorded an album in 2005 when she was 14, and she was signed to a 7-album deal.

The lawsuit claims the entertainment company she worked with is “one of the most beloved, best-known and most valuable companies in the history of the world.”

She says she was introduced to a man who was assigned to be her day-to-day producer/mentor/agent.

She says he became very controlling and the relationship changed. She claims in the lawsuit he began telling her he loved her and they were soulmates. She says he also made negative comments about her looks and weight.

She says he would rub and fondle her gen*tals and her body, digitally penetrate her and he would orally cop*late her and forced her to do the same to him. She also claims they had int*rcourse, both v*ginally and an*lly. On one occasion she claims she was drugged before an*l int*rcourse.

She claims the man spent a significant amount of time with her mom to “groom” her.
The girl says the s*xual abuse continued for 2 years … on occasion at Staples Center, a music video set on the Warner Bros. lot, hotels, cars on public streets and other places.

She’s suing the alleged perpetrator, along with people she claims were enablers.

‘The Voice’ Alum Jordan Pruitt Suing Former Manager, Hollywood Records, Disney Over Alleged Abuse

Jordan Pruitt has filed a lawsuit against her former manager Keith Thomas, accusing the producer and songwriter of sexually abusing her. The suit also names Hollywood Records and parent company The Walt Disney Company, accusing them of failing to prevent the abuse from Thomas, who Pruitt claims began sexually abusing her when she was 14. Thomas’ company, Levosia Entertainment, is also named in the suit.

“3 weeks ago as ‘Jane Doe’ I filed a lawsuit against my molester and those who enabled him,” the singer, who was a contestant on Season 3 of The Voice, posted on social media Tuesday. “No more Jane Doe. I am Jordan Pruitt.”

The suit was filed on Aug. 30 and seeks damages for allegations of sexual battery of a minor, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence, negligent supervision, negligent retention/hiring, negligent failure to warn train or educate and breach of fiduciary duty. A copy of the suit obtained by Billboard alleges that Hollywood encouraged the then-underage to work with Thomas as a mentor and producer and allowed him to be “unsupervised” with her.

It claims that Thomas, acted with “full knowledge, consent and assistance of Disney and Hollywood Records to exploit these relationships in order to gain access to Platintiff, and to set up, facilitate, and arrange meetings and encounters between he and the minor Plaintiff for the purpose of Keith Thomas engaging in childhood sexual abuse of Plaintiff.”

In a statement sent to Billboard, Pruitt’s attorney, Keith Davidson, said his client, “like far too many child stars, was exploited by the very people who should have been protecting her. Jordan’s innocence was robbed from her as she was systematically groomed, molested, and controlled by a predator employed by Disney, a company that sells happiness to children. Disney had a duty to protect Jordan from Keith Thomas, and failed at every step.

In his own biography, Keith Thomas acknowledges his working relationship with Jordan Pruitt.

His initial discovery, Jordan Pruitt, he signed with Hollywood Records, and in conjunction with the release of her debut album, No Ordinary Girl, Jordan opened for numerous Disney sponsored concert tours, including High School Musical: The Concert, The Cheetah Girls and Demo Lovato.

Keith Thomas is well known in the music industry. He has worked with Whitney Houston, Jessica Simpson, Luther Vandross, Amy Grant, Bebe & Cece Winans, 98°, Vanessa Williams, Brian McKnight, Mandy Moore,  and Amy Foster. He now tends to work with young, female YouTube stars.

    I concur with a lot of the guesses here that it is in fact Jojo (R&B singer), but I am shocked by how many people on this site don’t know that Jojo Siwa isn’t the person being referenced. How young/old are the people who visit this site?

    Hello, I am sorry but why have soooooo many mentioned people of interest that with a single Google shows that it is impossible to be the star that have been molested… Do you not read?
    I did found very very quick that it is Jordan Pruitt. Read her coming out in 2016. It is very similar to this. Just less details in her 2016 coming out, everything else fits in perfectly.

    Its Jordan Pruitt, manager Keith Thomas. Her career never really took off during all this. It’s also interesting after he did a song with mandy more, I want to be with you, he vanished from the industry for three years.

    There held her in a contract for a few years while stonewalling her releases and her making music, she took them to court over it, i believe. If I remember rightly she said something in a interview about her having a strange relationship with an older man, which left her with a constant insecure need to please and feel good enough. Not a fan but regardless if this happened, its majorly effed up.

      Especially for a company that is trying to be socially conscious, even more so right now. jay brown and jay-z have been tight for years, if this is true. so i don’t believe he can’t of know about this. The music industry really needs to be brought into touch over the treatment of artists and employers.

    What do you think will happen? Hope she has evidence and she can find justice. Without evidence, it’s his word vs her word and we have had too many false accusations lately that I believe it will go no where if she doesn’t have evidence. Wish her luck!

    Many strange statements by Thomas, calling her an old soul, saying she did things 15 year olds shouldn’t be doing and idk, just his overall gushing feels creepy. She says she now KNOWS she’s not the only one, so maybe they will also come forward soon! Who did he oversee…

    14 in 2005… that makes me think of Jojo. She was very popular then. If this is true, this is so sad. She’s been through a lot to take control back of her career, I’d hate to think this contributed to it.

    I’m thinking this is Jojo. She’s about the right age, having been born in 1990. She was pretty big for a few years, but then kind of vanished so maybe what was happening behind the scenes is why.

    Actually, checks out, this is definitely Jojo. She was 14 when production for her 2nd album began in 2005, performed at Staples around that time, too. Had a 7-year album contract she fought to get out of and won the lawsuit.

    I take it back. This is definitely JoJo. The timeline works. She signed a 7 album deal with Blackground. She appeared at the Staples Centre early in her career.

    Makes sense as to why they effectively halted her career for the last 5 years of the contract if this level of abuse was communicated (similar to Kesha, they weren’t going to let her out of her contract, what else could they do?!).

    If it is him it looks a little wired she is doing it AFTER Scott called her out on some things. Taylor loves drama. She writes about ex’s and calls them out publicly. She’s constantly in arguments with Katy and Kardashian’s. Now she’s ticked off republicans (that was most her fans). I’m not saying she’s lying bc sometimes it takes anger to bring it out into the light. She is going to have a bigger battle now that she’s going after him when he disagreed with her so publicly.

    JoJo for the singer, she was born in December of 1990 and would have been 14 for almost all of 2005 when she recorded “The High Road”.

    Not sure on the producer, but she was signed to Blackground Records who Wiki quote “held her in a tight contract, refusing to release new music and tried to silence her as an artist. To this day JoJo has no rights to her old music, and has re-recorded the first two albums and other singles that Blackground has in the vault.”

    Taylor Swift signed to Sony Publishing in 2004 and met Borchetta then… the deal was formalized in 2005 although the number of albums is off. Unless she bought her way out and got Lover freed for her new deal with Republic.

    The company was Big Machine and Scott Borchetta produced. Here’s the smelly part: She has sat on this all these years only to come out with this after Borchetta sold his company and her book of master recording to a new company.

    The problem with MeToo is when it’s used for personal gain. She could have come forward with this before, if true. Why now?

      You clearly have no idea how trauma manifests. Some have immediate responses but most people practice denial, avoidance, suppression or normalisation.

      And unless you have these questions for the gymnasts and alter boys who also said nothing at the time I also think you’re biased against famous people.

    Well. Taylor Swift was discovered at 14 and signed by mentor/producer/manager/whatever Scott Borchetta then, recorded an album in 2005 that was released in 2006. I really hope this isn’t her. But this type of thing can happen to anyone. It’s honestly horrific and it’s kinda icky to be guessing who it might be. Ugh. Whoever this happened to, it’s not your fault and I hope this suit ends with you stronger and taking back control.

I hope that Taylor (or whomever this is) can drag this “man” (monster is more like it) through the mud, just as he did to her, while suing him and winning mega millions. And all of that STILL isn’t enuff to compensate her for loss of her youth, innocence, etc. I wish her the absolute best and hope she can find peace.

      She means Jojo the singer. I believe she’s around 30 now. She sang the song “Get Out” when she was only 12. She signed a 7 record deal and worked with Aaliyah’s uncle Barry but the record company screwed her over big time.

      LOL pretty sure chesty is talking about the other JoJo, the one who was a successful young singer in the early/mid 2000s. If this is what was going on behind the scenes, it makes sense that her career was so derailed.

      Jamie Lynn didn’t start recording until later. In 2005, she was acting. I think this is JoJo Levesque.
