    I’d probably yell at him for doing it and how much it hurt/upset me. Then probably pack u p and leave. Maybe not if it happened only once. People can make mistakes and learn and not repeat an action. But definitely on the second go round.

    Asking someone if they intend to be abusive is redundant. Even a violent person wouldn’t confess to it. Anyway there’s never been any reason to think any member of the monarch physically abuses their spouse. Stab them in the back metaphorically, yes (according to the late Diana)….but not physically.

    Her dad’s new cringe making TV interview claiming he told Harry never to raise his hand against Meghan when Harry asked him permission to marry his daughter. So many holes in this story knowing that Harry never even met his dad-in-law. And I am guessing Meghan has spun some tale about being physically abused by one of her exes. As a self proclaimed feminist and never once to miss an opportunity to be in the limelight, I am surprised she has never brought this up…

      Abuse is difficult to talk about, many people find it shameful and weak and wouldn’t want anyone to see them that way. There are many people who have been abused, even feminists and haven’t said a word. Not everything is about gaining attention.

    This is Meghan the new Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry. Don’t know her exes. Her dad just did an interview on morning tv in the UK that spilled some personal opinions from Harry to do with politics that is a complete no-no for the Royal Family. It was an awful bit of tv and no one looks good from it.

    I left my ex when he threw a remote control against a wall in a hotel. I knew after that hitting was next. I’m not the type to take it so one of us would have ended up in jail.     I was in an abusive relationship once. I started fighting back even though I always lost. I once broke my own finger hitting him back. So I know what I’d do: I would punch back or pick something up and clobber him.

    This is about Sparkles. She must’ve told her dad that some husband or boyfriend hit her because when Prince Harry asked Mr. Markle for Media Meg’s hand in marriage the dad said something about how Harry better not raise a hand to her. It’s hard to believe anything that comes from Sparkles and her family. Dad might be putting that out there to try to garner some support for his Princess Pushy.

    Maybe a slap is why Sparkles’ first marriage was annulled. Dunno if 2nd hubby hit her.

      Good luck to you. I hope that you find the strength to leave. Hopefully you have someone you can talk to you that will help and guide you out of your situation. Never encountered physical but did encounter the mental abuse. Luckily I had the money to leave. I waited until he was at work and we had all my stuff packed up in 45 minutes. By the time he got home I was 4 states away. I am not a religious person but I will pray that you can find your way out of this relationship.
