Mom Is Not Keen On Surfing USA

[Blind Gossip] This half-musical celebrity couple was overheard making plans for a summer beach vacation. The mother’s concern seemed to be about how to avoid the paparazzi photographing one of their children.

He was talking about how much he loved surfing in the States with the children, and she was saying that she didn’t want to go someplace where the paparazzi would be photographing the children in their swimming costumes. She didn’t want people making nasty comments about their daughter. She seemed quite irritated about it and was getting frustrated with him because he didn’t seem to take it as seriously as she did.

It seems like her goal is to protect her child. Can’t say we blame her. No parent wants to see their child ridiculed online!

    I’m with those who guess the Beckhams and Harper. I have no idea on earth why people would pick on a child, specifically Harper.

    I’d probably be worried too and do my best to protect my child from ridicule. So +1 for Victoria on this issue. David seems proud of Harper’s soccer ability so maybe he just doesn’t see the potential problem.

    It’s got to be the Beckhams? Unfortunately, the children have been pushed into the limelight from day one and “Brand Beckham” must be promoted at all times, even at the cost of their children’s privacy. Here in the UK, whenever there is a photo of Posh and Harper together, there is a lot of unnecessary fun poked about the size of them both… Harper is perfectly normal sized, where her mum looks stick thin and skinnier than her six year old daughter.

    I’m going to say the Hemsworths. They probably don’t put a top on their daughter, like a lot of other countries. Tabloids here would probably be weird about it.

    If this is the Beckhams, it’s well known that they call the paps when they want them there and they don’t when they don’t. That’s why Victoria was barely photographed when she was pregnant. So, if they don’t want the paps there, don’t tell them where you’re going to be like you usually do!

    Beckham? Could anorexic Victoria be deslusional because daughter Harper Seven is a healthy child? It seems that David is over Posh’s image control.

    Why would she assume her daughter is going to be ridiculed. Is she ashamed of her daughter. She should build up and show confidence in her daughter. The mom has a problem.

    My guess is Posh and Becks. Wasn’t there a blind before about her being irritated that he gives their daughter ice cream? And they’re from Britain..which isn’t exactly know for good surfing.
    She needs to chill out. Her daughter is what, like 5? People would be waaaaay more judgmental if the kid was papped looking anorexic like she does. Except maybe Anna Wintour, who seems to be the only person whose opinion she cares about. ?

      Maybe if Posh didn’t have the shape of a 12 year old boy, Becks wouldn’t run around on her. Not that that’s a good excuse. The little girl is no where near overweight and anyone who would say she is shouldn’t be looking at children’s bodies anyway!

    I’m not sure who it is but I HATE that children of celebrities are seen as fair game by the paparazzi and then in turn the gossip columnists. They didn’t ask for this.

    This is the Beckhams and Harper is the child involved.

    I wouldn’t be in the business of promoting an unrealistic body image to begin with nor would I shove my offspring in front of the press as early in their young lives as possible so wouldn’t have to deal with the blowback if one of my children didn’t fit the product I push. I feel for all of their children, not just Harper.

    Posh & Becks? Calling them a half musical couple is a stretch, but hey, Spice Girls sold records. Anyway, their daughter, Harper, is adorable, but she isn’t stick think like her mum, so I can see Posh not wanting her photographed in her swimsuit.

    I would let the child swim. The public doesn’t seem to like Victoria, and will likey embrace a normal looking child with a little baby fat. David seems to always be the parent who is out with Harper. I’ve wondered if Posh is embarrassed.

      Harper is always on her Instagram stories, so I don’t know. Yes she’s chubby (cute) but it hardly seems like Posh is ashamed of her.

      She’s six, so I can see why Posh wouldn’t want her daughter photographed in swimwear….

      Maybe compromise and stick a shortie wetsuit on her?

      I think she’s being protective. Victoria was really insecure about her weight growing up, and I think she thinks the unrelenting press could put pressure Harper into disliking her own body.

    I feel sorry for her, she’s only trying to protect her family from the crazy paparazzi while on vacation. There also might be a deeply sad and psychological reason why Nicole doesn’t want her children papped by creepy strangers.

      I think this — Harper Beckham is still a little girl, but Nicole’s girls are a little bit older, so she might be a more protective over her preteens.
