[Blind Gossip] The heartfelt confession of a health issue seems to be almost fashionable right now!

It seems like half of young celebrities claim to have some sort of chronic malady that is not visible to the eye (e.g., anxiety, depression, panic attacks, lyme disease, lupus, chronic fatigue syndrome).

Some of them are just setting you up so you will feel sympathy for them instead of the annoyance you might feel if you knew what they were really doing.

Right now, a young female celebrity is feeding you one of these health stories. Of course, she chose an ongoing and chronic “health issue” so she can recycle it repeatedly if need be. She learned this from another family member.

What’s really going on? She’s a drug addict. She needs to go to rehab. If the press catches her when she does go, she will say that it is for one of those sympathy-producing health issues and she was merely trying to get help quietly without worrying her fans.

Her fans will laud her for quietly taking care of her “health issue.”

You’ll know better.

    It’s tempting to say Gigi Hadid but I believe it’s Lady Gaga. The “you felt sorry for” line is the poker tell: Hadid does not have four to five dozen “monsters” still hanging breathlessly upon her every word and posting Instagrams in wet mascara demonstrating their sympathetic devotion to her. That is pure Gaga. Fibromy my my. Karma would be in overdrive and very fair if it gave Germonatta MS to show her what happens to those who use real illnesses to do fake PR.

    This is absolutely Gigi Hadid. She and her boyband bf clearly hit the coke all the time. Whenever spoiled celebs tell sad tales of their illnesses, mental and physical, it backfires on me. They’re either making up some condition or pretending to suffer from an ailment actual people really have to deal with.

    No sympathy from me.

    Bella Hadid just gave another sob story of having crippling anxiety on her mothers new show. She also supposedly has Lyme Disease.

    Lena Dunham just came out with the endometriosis stuff. Kind of crazy in my opinion. I have it. I’ve had 4 surgeries for it in 3 years.

    Gigi Hadid.
    I have Hashimoto’s and it’s well-controlled. So much so that I’ve never had any weight issues BECAUSE it is well-controlled. This girl is lying. With Hashimoto’s (or hypothyroidism), you actually GAIN weight, have dry skin, are lethargic, and have a whole host of other things going on…your metabolism isn’t functioning properly. Now, on the flip side with HYPERthyroidism, yes, you may have trouble keeping on weight. Hypo? Nope. She’s lying.

      Flmama I have Hashis as well and it’s somewhat controlled but could be better in my opinion. Are you gluten free? My doc never told me to go GF but the more I read it seems I should.

    Why assume the Lyme disease was fake? It’s a serious condition, it is known the standard testing is inadequate. YH could afford to access and pay for the best long term antibiotic treatment for Lyme disease which can help people make significant improvements. I think it’s unfair to say she definitely did not have it.

    Her sister/mother could be the family member(s) she’s learnt this from. Don’t they both have Lyme disease? And the brother too? Plus she was recently in the news talking about some new disease she’s supposedly got. Zayn is heavy into drugs too.

    Its a shame people hide behind chronic illness for thier issues. While it is heaviliy debated about drug addition being a illness or choice. They should not hide behind chronic illness for it. I myself have a lifelong disease that i will have till the day i die. I wake up in some sort of pain everyday. You can overcome Drug addition, you cannot overcome chronic disease it can only be controlled with medication. I have no sympathy for people like…

    I think this is Gigi Hadid. She looks scary skinny, and there have been hints that she, along with her boyfriend Zayn, are pretty heavily addicted to cocaine, but she looks so tired and drugged that I wonder if it’s heroin. She and her boyfriend remind me of the “heroin chic” look.

    Just read that Gigi is blaming her skinniness on Hashimotos disease (sp).

    This “health issue” story really irritates me because I do have a thyroid condition I was diagnosed with Graves’ disease last year and unless you have it you can’t begin to understand the struggle of it. Thyroid conditions are no laughing matter.

    It disgusts me that celebrities lie about stuff like this to get sympathy and a get out pass for rehab, then go on living their lives in ways that people with real chronic illnesses are unable to do a fraction of. I got diagnosed with heart failure in my 30s this week so forgive me if I have zero sympathy to spare for lying supermodels.

    Gigi Hadid’s Hashimoto’s was learned from momma Yolanda’s Lyme disease. I’ve hashimoto’s and it’s fairly common. And I work my * off. Gigi’s drug may be heroin.

    I believe this is Lady Gaga claiming to suffer from fibromyalgia. It’s a good cover because it’s not visible and if she’s ever busted for her drug addiction, she can then blame becoming an addict on pain medication. I think she’s doing heroin though.

    Kendall Jenner with her ‘anxiety’, it’s always being mentioned on the show.
    I’m guessing the drug is coca in or aderall, it’s bound to be a stimulant so she can mantain her slim figure.

    Gigi hadid saying she has hashimotos. Just overall how she explained it was really odd. how a trial drug balances her hormones & that made her thinner? So she’s cured? My sister suffers from the disease and this is not how it goes.

    Bella Hadid talked about her anxiety and Lyme disease, Gigi mentioned her thyroid problem, obviously Selena talks about lupus/depression/anxiety, and Chrissy Teigen has some infertility-related issue. It sounds like whoever this about has only recently opened up and they learned it from another family member in the public eye. My best guess is Bella.

      Hmm, I’ve had Hashimoto’s for 30 years. Today I learned I can use it as a disability. WOW!
      Why not do what normal people do and take a replacement med to remedy it? Geez, people are the worst!

      I’m like Very Unseemly says. I have had Hashi’s for over 30 years. Gigi chose the wrong endocrine disease if she’s crying that she’s got massive weight loss. Weight GAIN is almost always a terrible problem for people with Hashi’s. You don’t have a metabolism left and it’s extremely easy to pack on pounds even if your eating habits aren’t that bad. I actually laughed when I read her explanation that it’s Hashi’s causing her to be gaunt. lol

      Most gain weight, but for me my Hashimoto’s caused a huge weight loss. I looked awful and none of my clothes fit, until I got on meds and now I weigh more than before I got sick!

    Both are reportedly fond of the nose candy. Selena needs to cease and desist. Her new kidney is probably on life support and severely damaged already.
    Gaga has complained of fibromyalgia. Could be a cover up for her fluctuating weight and bipolar like swings. My #1 realistic advice is handle your s* ! Too much blow, off to rehab they go.

    As someone who has MS, using a chronic disease as a PR ploy p*sses me off bigly. Part of me hopes they get a karmic drop-kick ASAP.

      I have something called Takayasus Arteritis which is in the same family as lupus, so whenever I hear Selena Gomez giving her lupus spiel I want to rip my hair out. As a 25 y/o woman with a similar disease, I know I could never live her lifestyle with my chronic pain/ fatigue. This blind is sickening. People with invisible illnesses already go through enough without this BS.

      So sorry to hear about your MS. I really hope you’re doing well. Hang in there, friend!
