[Blind Gossip] Let’s talk about this hot new secret couple!

The man in this couple is a handsome, law-abiding actor on a TV drama. He used to quietly date his female costar on the show.

Another pretty actress joined the cast.  She has starred on several TV shows and has been through several high-profile relationships. She had been dating someone for the past year or so.

Lawman and Pretty got along well. Very well.

Female Costar started fighting on the set over how friendly Lawman was getting with Pretty.

Then Pretty broke up with her boyfriend… and Female Costar quit the show!

Well, it turns out that Female Costar had a good reason to suspect that the friendship was more than a friendship… because Pretty and Lawman have been secretly dating for months!

They have been dating since at least February of this year. He goes to her apartment in [redacted]. They just do simple things together like order food for delivery and walk the dogs and hang out. They try to keep it very low key but they are definitely a couple.

Did their romance break up TWO couples? We don’t know… but the timing of Pretty’s recent breakup with her boyfriend and Costar’s recent quitting sure raises a few questions!

Your friends at Blind Gossip were the first to tell you about this drama back in September of 2017!

There were three TV shows shooting on the same sound stage: Chicago PD, Chicago Med, and Chicago Fire. The cast members from the three shows are close and the characters from the shows frequently crossed over from one show to another.

Jesse Lee Soffer was starring on Chicago PD. That’s why we called him a “lawman.”

Sophia Bush was his costar on the show.

Soffer and Bush began dating in 2014.

Cute, right?

The trouble started when actress Torrey DeVitto joined the Chicago One family, beginning with Chicago Med in 2015.

Now, Sophia Bush and Torrey DeVitto had worked together on One Tree Hill many years ago and were friends.

Unfortunately, as soon as she joined Chicago One, DeVitto started getting very “friendly” with Bush’s boyfriend, Jesse Lee Soffer. They started spending time together. Without Bush.

Uh oh.

Sophia Bush and Jesse Lee Soffer broke up.

Jesse Lee Soffer could not help but brag about his conquests. He used a lot of vulgar language with the other guys on the set to describe exactly how he cheated on Sophia Bush.

Sophia Bush continued to do her job on Chicago PD.

Then Torrey DeVitto started doing episodes of Chicago PD.

Uh oh.

It was bad enough that Bush had to continue working with the boyfriend who cheated on her. Now she had to work with his new girlfriend, DeVitto, too!

That was stressful for Bush. She hung in there and continued to do her job as professionally as possible, but eventually it became too much. Bush quit Chicago PD very suddenly in 2017.

Soffer and DeVitto waited until 2018 to go public as a couple. They say that they didn’t start started dating until 2018 and then dated for eight months.

Ha!

That timeline is a complete fabrication. If you read Blind Gossip, you know that their relationship started LONG before then!

Of course, Soffer can not admit that he is a dog and that he cheated on Bush… and that his relationship with DeVitto started much earlier than is being reported… and that the tension on the set among Soffer, DeVitto and Bush was a major reason Bush suddenly quit her job.

And, of course, Sophia Bush is much too dignified to roll around in the mud with her ex-boyfriend Soffer and her ex-friend DeVitto. She’s just going to stay out of this mess and move on with her career and her life.

Anyway, Jesse Lee Soffer and Torrey DeVitto just broke up.

‘One Chicago’ Stars Torrey DeVitto and Jesse Lee Soffer Split After 8 Months

It’s over. Chicago Med’s Torrey DeVitto and Chicago P.D.’s Jesse Lee Soffer have ended their relationship, Us Weekly learns. The pair are still friends but are both single single, a source close to the actors said.

In August 2018, Us broke the news that the costars were dating. Soffer and DeVitto, both 34, “complement each other beautifully,” an insider told Us at the time. The pair traveled the world together, capturing their trip to Scotland all over Instagram. The photos are now erased from her account.

“It’s great. It’s awesome,” the actor told Us of their relationship in September. Soffer plays Jay Halstead on Chicago P.D. and has appeared frequently on DeVitto’s show, Chicago Med. All three Chicago shows (including the original, Chicago Fire), shoot on the same sound stage; their characters never have been romantically involved on the show, but his onscreen brother Will (Nick Gehlfuss) was once engaged to her character.

“It’s great, we felt like we were out in the open. It’s really great. Everything’s going so well. I’m really happy, [the] happiest I’ve ever been,” the former Pretty Little Liars star told Us later that month, adding that on date night, they “watch a really good show and just be at home. I think that’s what’s really great – we’re both equal parts homebodies.”

DeVitto was married to Paul Wesley from 2011 to 2013 and briefly dated Dancing With the Stars pro Artem Chigvintsev. Meanwhile, Soffer had an on-off relationship with former Chicago P.D. star Sophia Bush, whom DeVitto worked with on One Tree Hill.

It would be interesting if Soffer started dating a third female Chicago One actor. Then Torrey DeVitto could experience a little bit of what Sophia Bush went through.
