    I don’t believe Ariana was just capitalizing on events. You’d have to be a sociopath to not be affected by the events and I think she is not that much of a good actress to be honest.

    People love to claim everything is publicity these days. To me it looked more genuine.

    She takes off that ring all the time and if it was an engagement ring it would be on the right hand and not the left. If it’s publicity she is not being very good at it.

    This is what being a celebrity has come to today, it’s not about relying on your talent, the way it used to be, it’s all about lying and scheming in front of the cameras, and trying to fool the public into falling for your lies and schemes…..that’s the most pathetic thing ever!

      I share your disgust at all the duplicity, Spaceship, but I think Hollywood always had plenty of untalented people getting by on their looks, nepotism or the casting couch, as well as fake PR couples, closeted gay people, drug & alcohol abuse, etc. It’s just that now we have the internet to share all the juicy details. Back then, the dirty deeds pretty much stayed within the tight industry circles.

      BTW I don’t blame Ariana as much as her handlers. The ent industry / celeb machine is really toxic for most. A deal with the so called devil and your life is no longer yours…ever. Like the Mafia. That’s not saying she and others are adults responsible for their actions. Who holds them accountable? It seems as fame/ money increase that manipulation/ control do as well and addiction to cope. Truth is hidden by a personae and much effort/ $$ spent to protect it.

      Exactly. It’s manipulative but that’s sort of the wrong question. Everything is manipulation – it’s baked in the cake. It’s about constant unrelenting scheming to keep your name in headlines no matter what. And fake relationship drama is the easiest most common way of doing that. If I ever see someone who /isn’t/ in the headlines for relationship drama, I take that as an indication that there’s a real talented person somewhere in there (though good luck making a career that way).

    Singer is Ariana Grande. It is manipulative if they aren’t really engaged as this blind suggests. That was such a tragic thing that happened, that I can kind of see why she is doing it. Doesn’t make it right though.
