This is going to be Stringfellows – Peter Stringfellow is such a slimey toad…
I live in London, and no, not scared… have you not seen all the Britain’s reeling memes… take more than that to scare us!

Death waivers? Is this the price we have to pay to live in a free country?
Yes, I’m very concerned about a terrorist attack. My best friend has to take the train into Boston every single day and works in the downtown and it scares me. I can only imagine how the poor people of London must feel.

Probably Heaven, which hosts a party called G-A-Y. Catnip to someone who disapproves of the LGBTQIA+ community.
I’m more scared of the politicians who want to normalize this kind of situation. “There’s nothing we can do about it….we have to expect more of it….it’s just part of modern life.” Uh, no. A functioning government does its best to keep citizens safe. That’s what I pay taxes for.
Marvella says
No idea of the club but what a strange thing to have employees do.
If I lived in UK or EU terror attack would certainly be in my Top Ten fears. In fact it would be in my Top Five. In the US there are too many other things that can kill you before terror…for now anyway.

I’m from the ’80s so don’t have a clue as I’m a Yank…
That being said, the safest place I ever lived was teaching in CHINA! However, we don’t want to fall into communism as, trust me, that was so controlled & creepy.
I don’t worry about terrorism at all. My mantra is ‘what you fear is what you will reap” so I try to live my life with intelligence (don’t leave my house unlocked, etc…) but fearlessness. I treat others with kindness hoping it will be…

Optional: Nope, but I live in a country too far away from the drama and too irrelevant for this war. So that’s why I’m not worried. It rocks to be third-world at the moment!
Tbilll says
I’m more worried about the jerk in the BMW barreling down the street.
Pimpernel says
Good grief!!!! I hope the staff get their own insurance!!
Chiltern Firehouse or Whiskey Mist??

I think they were taking the mickey and someone has missed the sarcasm of it

I don’t know, the Libertine club?
I only think about terrorist attacks when I am in a crowded place. Since I am in a small town, I don’t really worry much. I don’t have a whole lot of fears, so I guess a terrorist attack is probably in my top ten…right after rattlesnakes.
KCeagle says
I’m not sure about the London nightclub being from Kansas City as I am, but…..really? Sign a waiver? Omg. That’s the most asinine thing I’ve ever heard.
We can’t allow terrorists or self righteous a******s to defeat us, and infringe upon our personal freedom and way of life. The best revenge is to dry our tears, and hold our heads high and continue living, playing and functioning with even more vigor and vitality.

Wth is a death waiver????? And yes, any death of other in masses disturbs me tremendously.
wfreshie says
does the waiver mean if there is a terrorist attack in their club that they can’t be liable???
frhanxs says
That means the club made them sign a paper that says if they get murdered while working its not the club’s fault and the family cant sue them
valleygal says
Come on, London, we’re better than this.
We can’t plan our lives or fears around these low-lives. We could just as easily be hit by a bus, or have an aneurysm. Anything. The most powerful thing we can do is keep on keeping on.
Baileygirl says
No idea, but come on, England, grow a pair. Your grandfathers fought the Luftwaffe in the 1940’s and they took it to them, big time. Don’t be afraid but don’t be stupid either. Keep voting the b*s who are keeping this going OUT OF OFFICE. No “NO GO ZONES, either!

THIS!^^^
Well said!

London is fine, one nightclub does not a city make
WillowPotter says
I don’t know who this could be, this is not only inappropriate but classless and I wouldn’t have a problem with telling my employer that, nobody wants to think about death all of the time like it and it is unnecessary. I am not a Londoner, as an American my heart goes out to London and all of England, may there be light in this time of darkness, don’t let Evil win keep fighting on and live your lives. The best that you can and may God bless you and keep all of you in his sights.

Chiltern Firehouse in Marylebone. It’s such a celec/royal hotspot that it’s sure to be a potential target.
Terrorists aren’t on my list of worries. I’m far more concerned about the traffic here in Manhattan.
NYCBunny says
Nevermind, I’m thinking hotspots, not nightclubs. I don’t go to clubs so I’ve no clue.
natalia says
No, I think you’ve got this. Chiltern Firehouse is/was a hotspot for celebs/royals a few months back.
jrgius says
I’ve got to agree, the subways are JAMMED and getting crosstown on the M57 is awful!
bxckground says
No idea about the club
About the terrorism fear: not a few years ago, but nowadays it seems like you cant even walk peacefully in the street without someone attacking you. So yes, i am scared.
