The Run Away

[Blind Gossip] This young and beautiful actress was at one of the posh after parties. She is a a past Oscar nominee/winner. One of the current male nominees/winners wanted to talk to her, perhaps to introduce himself or to tell her how much he enjoys her work.

She saw him coming and all I heard her say was, “No, no, no, no, NO!” and she immediately excused herself from the conversation and practically ran the other way!

The two of them don’t have any sort of history together, so we’re not quite sure why she was so adamant about avoiding him.

    Brie and Casey. She has had to present him with not one, but two awards this awards season. She didn’t clap for him last night during his speech. She looked pissed.

    I’d say Brie Larson with Casey Affleck maybe trying to clear the air. She gave him shade with no clapping at presenting his Oscar as a stand on his sexual harassment allegations. Thing is, the blind wouldn’t throw up its hands like no one had a clue what was going on. This is kind of common knowledge with her I think but she was a past winner and he is the current one so the clues fit.

    by process of elimination, it’s not Mahershala Ali and Emma Ston. They were very huggy on stage and apparently cast and crew bonded on the awards season press circuit.

    Probably cause she’s so skeeved out at the sex harassment allegations about him. She looked annoyed to even announce his name on the show and made sure to walk behind him instead of next to him when they exited.

    I want to say Brie Larson for the actress and Casey Affleck for the actor but it seems too obvious. Brie doesn’t like Casey because of the sexual harassment allegations against him. But, I don’t think it’s them. Too obvious.

    She avoid him bc of his sexual harassment. She speaks openly about rape and supports rape survivors, it’s obvious that she won’t talk to him. And it’s pretty clear she doesn’t like him, she was always annoyed when she had to give him an award and she avoid him when he finished his speech at The Oscars! Everyone left together except for them. That’s my girl!!

    but i’m pretty sure the actor is Casey Affleck,as it was reported since the Globes that a few actresses (A & B list) tryed to avoid talking to him as much as they could

    Brie Larsen was nominated for her movie Room. She presented to Casey Affleck but did not applaud and in fact looked like she’d stepped in poo at the thought of handing him the award. I guess those sexual assault allegations are hard to forget, even if you pay off the victims. I saw some tweets applauding her for not pandering to a perv.

    Might be Brie Larson too, but she was clearly pretty chilly with him when she presented the GG and Oscar to him, so they kind of have a “history” there.

      I thought this was Brie Larson & Casey Affleck, but I like your guess. Being a predatory guy, he would probably go for the REALLY young actress over Brie, who is more established and obv didn’t like giving him his award.

    Brie Larson kind of looked put-off when she announced that Casey Affleck won. I’ll guess them. She’s obviously heard about the harassment allegations against him.

      Also my guess – she’s had to hand him multiple awards this season and she is a huge advocate for sexual assault survivors and even was at the oscars last year for her portrayal of a sexually assaulted woman.
