Alcohol Actress Update

woman healthy 3[Blind Gossip] Just a quick update on this pretty actress who was having some issues with alcohol a while back.

It took a couple of embarrassing incidents for her to finally get serious about it, but she has things well under control now. She didn’t go to to a formal rehab center like many people were expecting, and she did not attend 12-step meetings. She opted instead for one-on-one counseling. It was all very quiet and very private.

Her family is pleased with the results. She is healthy and happy. No more embarrassment, no more legal issues. Best of all, she feels really feels proud of herself that she is setting a good example for her kids.

    Reese Witherspoon

    She’s human.

    It has always been my theory, that even if you skip the whole drinking/partying thing (when it’s age appropriate) you’re still gonna do it.. at some point.

    She was focused on her career at a young age, and then was married with children before she was 25.

    She just didn’t get to make her “mistakes” until later in life. Unfortunately for her, there is no way to fly under the radar with the media these days.

    And that’s awesome- good for her. I know people who have gone to rehab and through AA, and never knew that 1-on-1 counseling was an affective alternative.

    Glad to hear she is healthy and happy again.

    I’m not buying Reese Witherspoon on this one. She’s cute but I wouldn’t refer to her as “pretty” (personal opinion, I know). Julia Roberts was Pretty Woman and she’s been known to have personal issues, including some substance abuse. It sounds more like her to me.

    Best reason to quit drinking? Because I have to get up in the morning for work and the beer is all gone anyways.

    But happy whoever it is , that they beat this and got help and continues with the help – at least for her kids sake- if not her own.

    As an alcoholic who constantly fights to stay sober, IMO the best reason to quit drinking is the peace of mind and knowing you’re in control at all times. Nothing worse than blacking out and finding out you did something horrible that you don’t remember…

    If this is Anna Ferris, it makes me so happy! I (for whatever weird reason) love her and Chris Pratt as a couple and only want good things for them.

    Best reason for sobriety (besides your own health) is that of your kids and family relationships.

    I worked one on one with a drug counselor to help.me quit drinking and it works. Really great decision.

    Best reason to quit: too many upsides to count but incredible sex.and even better sleep is right up there. A LOT less stress overall. And lost weight.

    One on One counseling is highly recommended.

      That incident happened right in front of my friend’s condo… had he known at the time it was her, he probably would have been thrown in jail for obstructing justice bc he would have gone total fan boy

      I thought Reese bc of the similar blind but could not see any clues. This is definitely it. That episode was both embarrassing and gave her legal issues.
