Olympic Fever

[Blind Gossip] Despite the controversy around the 2022 Olympic Winter Games being held in Beijing, China, this actress is very determined to see – and be seen – at The Games.

There is a very specific reason why she is so adamant about going.

You probably already know that she loves publicity. To that end, she has dated many celebrities in the past. Some were real relationships. Some were marketing arrangements.

She is planning to go The 2022 Winter Olympics with her current beau. He is a professional athlete. 

While he may be focused on the sports and the competition… she thinks that The Olympics may turn into her own awards ceremony!

He may have Olympic fever but she has proposal fever! She thinks that he is going to propose during The Olympics. They both love publicity and the whole world will be watching so it would be perfect timing.

A proposal certainly would receive worldwide attention. She has a couple of movies coming out this year and any excuse to boost his profile to sponsors is welcome, so an engagement would really work for both of them.

By the way, unlike Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, this is actually a real romance.

We’ll see if the 2022 Winter Olympic Games produces the kind of “ice” this actress wants!

    Boycotting Chinese Olympics due to continued Human Rights violations. Nina Dobrev makes me uncomfortable. I’m not a fan of her work.

    Will not watch in a boycott for all the human rights violations China has brought to its people, and because of their role in this whole Covid mess. The IOC should have cancelled this a while ago – China does not deserve the publicity nor financial boost. They allow this to go on, yet the MLB canceled the all star game??

      I am not watching either. China is using slave labor and is torturing and killing the Uygers. Disgusting. The Communist Olympics.

      Same here as well. Their treatment of the Uygers is appalling. No other way to put it, yet China gets away with it. Also, the debut of COVID-19 is another huge reason why I won’t watch the Olympic Games, as COVID-19 almost certainly started due to a lab leak and has killed more than 5.5 million people world wide, with close to one million in the US alone. Let the China money-crunch begin!

    I don’t know who this is but I hope it doesn’t happen. I like watching the Olympics, they are a welcome break from the egos in Hollywood. I would hate for them to set a precedent and cheapen the event.

    Can’t think of any coupling like that except Aaron Rodgers & Shailene Woodley . Well that is peculiar since Rodgers is in the Super Bowl hunt & his Packers are the No. 1 seed in the NFC . The Olympics &SB coincide this year . Anyway the show must go on and I have no problem with China hosting the Winter Olympics . There are lots of stable nations that have some iffy ness that aren’t North Korea . I will be watching Olympics and SuperBowl.

    After Covid, I truly don’t support anything with China. I’d like to support our athletes, so Im undecided if I will watch.

    Not sure. But no. I will not be watching. It should not be held there (for many reasons, the biggest being their human rights violations). I’m sorry for the athletes as they have no control over this, but I cannot watch.
