Her Donation To Charity

[Blind Gossip] Someone should be asking for receipts from those celebrities who claim they are donating large amounts of money to charity right now.

Why?

Because some of them are trying to be a little sneaky about it!

[Celebrity] announced that she was donating $X to [charity redacted]. What she was actually trying to do was donate $X of her product to the charity! Don’t know if it was excess product that didn’t sell or what. It likely only cost her about 1/10th of the amount she was trying to claim she was donating.

[The Charity] can’t use it anyway and are asking her to write a check instead. No response yet.

In addition to a tax deduction and a public pat on the back for being so “generous”, perhaps she was trying to get a little promotional boost as well?

    Wow, don’t know who would do that! But the best thing is for people to stay home! (unless they are necessary!) But going out to Walgreens to open all the lipsticks and rub them on the backs of their hands needs to stop, lol! Old ladies, yikes!

    Best thing to do is buy stuff from local stores once they’re allowed to re-open. Also, see if any elderly neighbors need stuff to be picked up.

    Goopy, best guess. Best thing is stay home, have food delivered from mom and pop restaurants and tip heavily, if you can. And don’t read the news too often, lots of garbage being bandied about.

    Always locally where you know who is doing what and can see results. Whether it’s to a food bank, delivering meals, donating to a clothes drive, or giving money directly to help pay bills.

    Optional: Depends on the person’s skill set. For me, it’s to stay home and not get the virus or spread the virus. That way no resources are used because of me and are available for those who will need it.

    The best way to help is to STAY HOME unless you absolutely have to go out and then only 1 person if possible. As a registered nurse I’m begging you to break the infection chain by staying home. My hospital is predicting peak around April 20th so we have a long way to go.
