She was talking about wellness and about how her whole life is now centered around being healthy. Everyone was congratulating her.

Good for her!

Our singer has certainly had a rough go of it in recent years, so it’s nice to hear that her priorities are in order.

Except, less than an hour later…

She was in the service area off the main room (it’s like a butler’s pantry) doing coke with some random guy.

Since doing coke in the butler’s pantry does not serve her current agenda of recovery and strength and resilience, we’re unlikely to get a song about that.

Sigh.

    Based on Demi being at a club until 6AM a few days later with this “mystery man” and his coke eyes… it’s Demi :(… no one clean and sober clubs until 6AM. Typical people need sleep and cannot party until 6AM without a little go-blow. Unfortunate. But relapse is part of many people’s story.

    Demi has been having these issues since she was a child. It’s deeply embedded in her and probably genetic and this will be a lifelong fight. She has to find someone to be her partner that can help her overcome this bc it’s hard when you are alone. She should be mad when someone offers her coke. She even did the song skyscraper when she was having problems and once again we let her back in and look at her. 10 years later. Ugh. Just be honest with yourself.

    It’s Demi. A few months ago she used a young man’s tragic death of a heroin overdose to draw attention to their friendship, his relapse & her supposed sobriety. There were a lot of people in his world who were not happy about his spending time with her before his death. Wonder why.

    Demi Lovato. I really hate this. If her NDE with her overdose didn’t wake her up, I don’t know what will. I hope someone or something gets through to her, though.

    Demi Lovato. Which is why I didn’t get emotional watching her. Unfortunately, she lies to herself and the public. It’s extremely sad.

      And I’m upset that Marie Frederiksson’s (Roxette) death wasn’t mentioned. Yeah, it’s awful that Kobe died but he was an athlete, not a musician. It’s ridiculous that he was constantly mentioned but a singer wasn’t.

    this makes me really really sad. i honestly hoped this time she’ll manage to stay clean.
    i thought her performance was beautiful and touching, man i really wish this girl to find happiness and peace. so sad.

    I only watched about the first hour … I’d say Lizzo’s number & the memorial for Kobe Bryant stood out.
