We feel bad for her latest “conquest,” a male singer. We told you back in March that Cheryl, 33,  was determined to make One Direction’s Liam Payne, 23 her next conquest… and that Liam was falling for it!

They first met in 2008, when Liam was only 14 years old and auditioning for X Factor. Cheryl was a member of Girls Aloud and one of the judges. She was already a professional singer and a celebrity. Liam was smitten.

Nine years and a couple of marriages later, Cheryl was looking around for some fresh blood. Poor Liam Payne was still young and dumb. He was emotionally vulnerable, with both the end of One Direction and the beginning of a solo career with which to contend.

Cheryl saw the opportunity to swoop in and play the older, wiser friend and confidante. Liam didn’t stand a chance.

Cheryl loves Liam the same way she loved Ashley Cole. She loves him the same way she loved Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini.

We mourn the end of One Direction.

We mourn the loss of Liam’s innocence.

    Liam and Cheryl. Well Well Wellington. For starters. It’s a relationship of mutual promotion. Liam also has some music he did with someone coming out soon. Secondly, all of Liam’s relationships have been fake. I can’t see a single one which was “genuine”. I think Liam is also in the closet, so there’s that. It was a nice try Payno. As for bonus question…. Andy Samuels or Jordan Payton. Just keep your grubby hands off of Louis. He belongs to Harry.
