Her husband, to whom she has been married for several years, has been having himself a little sum sum on the side. Even worse, the other woman in this case is another television actress who happens to be one of her friends. Even more interesting is the fact that the two actresses have such a similar look that they could probably pass for sisters. But there certainly won’t be any love in this family when our actress finds out what her husband is doing and with whom he is doing it.

‘won’t be any love in this family’ implies that it’s a family sitcom. i suppose it could be julie bowen from modern family. i’m trying to think of who else..
though bowen and her hubby have only been married five years. i guess that could be considered ’several’ years, but i would’ve thought more than five years from reading the blind.

If it is Bowen, who would the other woman be? There have been several mentions of how similar she looks to Cheryl Hines (Curb Your Enthusiasm). Could it be her? Really don’t know, just throwing it out there.
Jenna Elfman? Her show is new/not sure “hit show” works here, but the pic and the “fun loving” part seem to work. Isn’t Danny(?) Elfman one of the writers/producers on that show?
I thought of her as well but I think she’s pregnant too (not just her character on the show) and the blind would mention that…plus she’s married to Bodhi Elfman not Danny (not that it says the husband’s connected to the show)

I totally thought of her. She kinda looks like the girls from The Guild and Fringe.

Julie Bowen is a good guess. Bonnie Sommerville is a TV actress who guests on a lot of shows who looks a lot like her. Don’t know if they are friends or not.
Everyone is guessing just one actress or the other, but you have to think is pairs. The key to this item is to find TWO actresses who look reasonably alike, one of which is married and does comedy. There shouldn’the be too many such pairs. Find the actor-husband married to one of them and you’ve nailed it. I don’t watch TV anymore (just movies), so I have no guesses.
there is no mention that the husband is an actor. it doesn’t say anything about him. he may not even be in the business at all.

Well, Julie Bowen does remind me of another Julie….Julie Benz of Dexter. Benz just recently filed for divorce from her husband. That would suck since Julie Bowen just had twins with her husband in May of this year!

Amy Pollar is fun loving…not sure if her show is a hit. She looks like Amy Ryan, who was on the office last season.

Well she has guest starred in 5 tv shows. She was in a spy show called Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Regular cast member on E.R. She is also starring and executive producer for an upcoming HBO drama.
I didn’t know Maria Bello had done so much television. I think you may be on to something.
Oh she was “McLaughlin” in like 2 films. I know the title is about the comedy of lady number 1. Still I thought it was interesting considering the title…lol.. I dig waaaaaay toooo deeeeeep man!

So the actresses that I think could possibly have a twin: Julie Bowen, Cheryl Hines, Tina Fey, Sarah Chalke, Amy Pohler and Courtney Cox. Most of which have been married for awhile.

Sarah Chalke’s out, she’s not married. She’s only engaged.
I’d definitely qualify Cougar Town as a hit, its got bigger ratings than nearly all of those shows mentioned above, DT. It’s got bigger numbers than 30 Rock, Ugly Betty, Scrubs, Old Christine, Accidentally…, P & R, It’s Always Sunny…, and Curb! And its very close to The Office and HIMYM.
Anyway, lol, my first guess was Cox.
Lois Griffin and Marge Simpson!!! Marge thinks she’s all sum sum now after that Playboy pictorial. ‘Bout time Lois took her down a peg or two.
