Why Wifey Is Selectively Jumpy

[Blind Gossip] It was odd that this TV actor’s wife felt compelled to immediately and publicly jump to the defense of her marriage when the media claimed that her husband was on a date with this non-actress.

Why was it odd? Because Wifey does not jump in when the media speculates whether or not her husband is having a real-life scandalous affair with his actress costar.

Is it because the rumors are true?

It’s not because the rumors are true. Their characters are having an affair on the show, so it’s good for fans to wonder if [Actor and Actress] are having an affair in real life as well. Good chemistry and rumors keep the fans tuned in to see if the spark is real which keeps the ratings up and keeps everyone employed! [Wifey] knows the game.

    Why was he out with Huma, especially the way he acts in public with Kerry Washington? He is a rotten husband. His wife is no looker, but if he’s not attracted to her, then leave. What a jerk!! Huma is a jerk magnet. First Wiener, now this tool. She needs therapy.

    Tony Goldwyn’s wife. He’s on Scandal (“scandalous”) and he was recently seen out with Huma Abedin. His wife jumped in there saying there was nothing going on. Kerry Washington is his co-star in Scandal.

    If the Kerry/Tony rumors are to create hype for the show, it seems pointless at this point. Fitz is divorced with a new girlfriend and Shonda Rhimes doesn’t want to put him and Olivia back together anyway.

    Optional: if my husband were rumored to be having and affair we’d be rumored to be getting divorced, those kinds of secrets and lies have no place in a successful marriage, if he wants a little strange fine, but not behind my back.

      What does that last sentence means?? I’m just asking because you posted not behind my back. I also think the bloggers on this site is very intelligent and know what’s going on in Hollyweird. I’m not trying to start anything, but just asking. I think a cheater will continue to cheat until, he falls for someone that will cheat on them. JMO
      I’ve seen it happen in soooo many marriages, they both cheating and come together for whatever they have to. They keep a facade in public, then the mask…

    They are both married with kids, so I don’t understand why the fans want them to be having a affair in real life. It would be one thing if they were both single, but they’re not. Affairs are anything but romantic.

    Jane Musky, Tony’s wife, came out and defended Tony against allegations of cheating with Huma Abedin, the non-actress.

    Optional: I am separated from my cheating husband and going through the divorce process, so I am not exactly a fair judge when it comes to cheating rumors. I ignored the rumors because he convinced me they just worked together occasionally. These actors have a “spark”, and sparks easily turn into flames.
