Why She Stays Away

woman suitcase 2[Blind Gossip] This famous family all started in the business when they were young. Although not everyone acts anymore, you would think that this common thread would result in them being especially close. Not really.

We were surprised to hear that while they occasionally do photo ops together for big  events, one family member – who is an actress – generally doesn’t hang out with her siblings. She loves her family, but she just doesn’t want their life.

She has seen them get caught up with drugs and alcohol and smoking and eating disorders and plastic surgery and she doesn’t want anything to do with that kind of life, so she tends to stay away. She’s in [one city] and they’re usually in [different city], so the distance and everybody being busy with their own careers are perfect excuses to stay away.

    I was thinking MK, Ashley, and Elizabeth, but the “family” (rather than just saying siblings) throws me off. Maybe that would make it too obvious?

    [Optional] Depends. If she is absolutely sure that her sisters are never going to change their lifestyles then yes, it’s a smart move to stay away.

    My guess is the Arquette Family, and the actress to stay away is Patricia. Her siblings include
    Rosanna, Alexis (formerly Robert), David and Richmond Arquette.

    The Olsens, with Elizabeth Olsen being the one staying away is my guess. And yes, getting pulled into the swamp is hard to avoid if you stay nearby.

    For some reason this makes me think of the Olsens, and the actress would be Elizabeth Olsen…

    The Olson (Olsen?) sisters? One of the older sisters had issues w/an eating disorder, both have had plastic surgery and one (or both) used drugs. I’d say Elizabeth steers clear.

    I think distance can be healthy especially if your family has a tendency to be overwhelming.

    Olsen twins and actress is younger sister Lizzie Olsen. Definitely smart to stay away!! Lizzie always strikes me as so level headed.

    Could be actress: Jurnee Smollett. Her family starred together in “On Our Own” as youngsters. Her brother Jussie Smollett stars in “Empire”.

    This HAS to be Elizabeth Olsen! She recently attended the Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards with her sisters, Mary-Kate and Ashley (neither of who act anymore), but public sightings of the three of them together are rare. Also, MK went to rehab for an eating disorder and drug abuse, and the twins smoke like chimneys.

    The youngest Olsen sister, Elisabeth or something, I forget. Older sisters are Mary Kate and Ashley. She’s smart. Very smart!

    If I’m correct, I think she is very smart to stay away. With all his drama I would be running far away from David Arquette, plus Rosanna and Alexis are no where near her potential or talent. It’s not like she disowns them, she just stays away. I see no issue with that.

    Yes, it’s smart to stay away if she doesn’t want to slip into their lifestyle, especially if the Mary Kate/Heath Ledger rumors were really true.

    Hasn’t she had plastic surgery, as well, though? (Rhinoplasty) I’m not judging her for having surgery done on her nose – just wondering why she would hold it against them for having plastic surgery.
