    I really don’t know who the current socialites are, but my guess is Lauren Silverman because she was born in the U.S. (New Hampshire), and I think she and Simon Cowell might now live in the U.K.

    I was going to guess Nicky Hilton, but then saw the linked article saying neither sick/nor pregnant and her Aunt Kyle Richards has been talking about how excited she is that Nicky is pregnant. So now I’m not sure.

    Not sure who it is but it could be herpes in her throat. My old college roommate had that problem (you can imagine how she got it, lol) and her throat was always sore because of it.

    I don’t know about being shot in the neck, nor do I know who this socialite is, but I do know that performing too much oral se* on a man (or multiple men) can give you a sore throat. (But so can smoking too many cigarettes, for that matter)
