[Lainey Gossip] Nothing to laugh about here — this one we will all be sad about. All of us. Because it’s almost over for them. After rising together and stabilising together and conveniently finding a home together, where you’d think work would be so much easier, and having the babies too, they’re close to formally ending it, and there may be an announcement soon…which, well, if you look at him it doesn’t seem to have affected him physically.
Everyone says he really cares about his appearance these days, more than ever, and is looking hotter than ever. Or, as one person put it, “hot all of a sudden”. Emotionally too he hasn’t let on that there’s anything wrong. For what it’s worth, I’m told there was no third party involvement. Perhaps that means it’s amicable, just the end of their story. Perhaps we’ll be more choked about it than they are. As I drench my waffles in more maple syrup.

Amy Poehler and Will Arnett are calling it quits.
The comedic stars, who wed in August 2003, are ending their marriage, a rep for both actors confirms to PEOPLE.
The pair have seen happier times.
In 2005, the Parks and Recreation star, 40, told PEOPLE, “He makes me feel very safe. You can have a lot of adventures if you have someone by your side.”
Arnett, 42, who currently stars on NBC’s Up All Night, said that he “immediately had a talent crush” on Poehler.
“The first time I saw her onstage, I said, ‘I’m gonna marry that girl,’ ” he told PEOPLE in 2009.
The couple are parents to two sons – Archie, 3½, and Abel, 2.
This marriage was the first for Poehler. Arnett was previously married to Penelope Ann Miller.
Lainey certainly gave enough clues to enable you to make a reasonable guess. Amy Poehler’s character on Parks and Rec loves waffles, and Will Arnett hails from Canada.
Do you guys think that Will Arnett has been looking hot lately? There’s something about his look that we always found interesting… but a little scary. It’s that combination of his eyes and teeth and that too-smooth forehead that scares us (although he does make a great villain as Devon Banks on 30 Rock).
