The Purge

the-purge[Blind Gossip] This actor and actress have a lot in common. They are both under 30, good-looking, musically inclined, and very famous.

They’ve never dated but they did do a film together in the last year or so.

During filming, the actor’s (not famous) girlfriend was on set. She knew that the Actor was getting ready to dump her from his life and from his payroll… so she quickly glommed on to the actress. They began partying together and acting like besties. The Actress even put her on her payroll.

Well, Actress is now cleaning up her act… and purging all the “users” in her life. This includes people who use drugs and or use her. She doesn’t want to be friends or neighbors or business partners with them. One of the first to go? The Actor’s Ex, who has been purged from Actress’ social media accounts.

    I have done but not really on purpose. When I first had severe symptoms of RA I couldn’t keep up with all my friendships, was resting as much as possible on wknds in order to work mon-fri at as close to 100% as possible. So I couldn’t devote as much time to friends…..some fell by the wayside. Others remain strong, the ones who are understanding when I cancel plans at last minute or leave social events early. Due to RA meds I don’t drink anymore-more dropped off. V glad except for…

    I have done a friendship purge. But it was more like a “people I don’t even like who I know don’t like me either” purge. Facebook is a weird place.

    My first guess was Demi Lovato, but she’s more of a singer than actress. Second guess would be Selena Gomez, but she’s primarily a music person too. Jennifer Lawrence sang in a couple of the Hunger Games movies so I’ll go with her. Wasn’t there a blind about Amy Schumer using her?

    No idea.

    I regularly purge FB and life. If I don’t know you in RL, we aren’t FB friends. And if you think writing “HBD” on my wall is sufficient when you have my phone number, you will be kicked to the curb.

    Majority of my friends don’t know/follow my IG, Twitter – thankfully bc I need a place to rant about them :-p

      Isn’t that a bit demanding? If my friends and family all felt this way, I wouldn’t have any. I certainly don’t diss my loved ones for sending a FB message instead of a call because with hundreds of people plus students and coworkers to keep up with, I can’t even keep my head on straight. When you expect too much from others, you will ALWAYS get disappointed

      Boy, that’s what I like about being in my late 40s, you learn to become way more forgiving of other peoples perceived shortcomings, as they do yours!

      This post could have been 100% written by me. All of my friends are the same way so I guess we’re all ‘demanding.’ Or we have very high standards.
