woman diving[Blind Gossip] If your album sales have taken a dive over the past ten years and your label is trying to help you improve, the last thing you should do is dig in your heels and insist to the executives that you know more than they do about selling music.

You don’t.

You’re focusing on a lot of other junk that doesn’t make them money. They don’t care about your love life, your social media numbers, your little acting gigs or your promises to focus.

None of those things are selling records. And I know you know that all those distractions are partly to blame.

You’re ticking people off and they’re not going to put up with you for long. I’ll bet if you keep doing what you’re doing, you’re going to find yourself out of a home.

    Clues: The dive looks like her dive in Honey but with a different bikini color. She recently got engaged/ex-hubby can’t shut up about her. Her Twitter followers is at 16.5M, 4.1M on Instagram, 20M likes on Facebook, 1.8B views on Youtube. Acting gigs is currently Empire and her reality TV show Mariah’s World.

    Not to mention her decline in album sales is obvious

    Chanteuse – 122,000 in US

      Yes. Her music has been in a decline since the Glitter days and it’s such a shame since she doesn’t want to listen to anyone who might be able to save her career.

      The other guesses are good ones but none of them were selling 10-25M worldwide each album and had such a nosedive like Mariah has, especially over the last 10 years.

    This is Rhianna. Clue- Out of a home. She did the voice for the main character in Home.
    She’s done acting and fashion design in addition to her singing career. Didn’t she just bring out a range of shoes or something?

    I really feel this is Michael Buble. Everyone keeps guessing women, but no where does it say “She” or “Her”

    The swimming pool reminded me of a line in “Everything”..’youre a swimming pool, on an August day”

    He has an album out in October.

    Not Mariah Carey. She only recently returned to Sony and has solely released a Greatest Hits album with them. This sounds like someone who’s been pissing off her label for the last 10 years.

    People. You do know it says over the past TEN years, right? So it is around 2006. Therefore it cannot be Ariana, Selena and probably not Justin. If you know what I mean.

    Most of the singers listed seem to be, IMO, has-beens. Leanne Rimes, really? Is anyone really waiting for a new album from her? Britney Spears, the performing pony? I wish and hope it was Beyonce, or Rihanna… I am all for Lady Gaga moving into other areas of show biz, though I don’t know how successful she will be. So if it’s her, I hope she finds the time to put out another killer album, or at least a good one.

    It’s obviously Ciara. 20,000 album sales, over million Twitter followers. LA Reid just announced he’s dumping her from his record label. Too busy with her marriages, relationships, baby than focusing on her music career.

    Brit Brit or Mariah, but I think only Brit has put music out recently. The only clue I picked up on is out of a home, ie Vegas residency. Of course she needs to listen to the label execs, sorry to say, but she’s not that bright. She seems more concerned with putting out bikini pics on IG.

    Beyonce. But the entire record industry has seen album sales tank to historic lows (again).
    Album sales are down almost 17% so far this year.

    People are using streaming services: Pandora , iHeartRadio, iTunesRadio, Rhapsody, Spotify, GooglePlay, etc…

    Singer: Grande likely, tho 10 years seems too long. Maybe Swift, but her numbers are fine. Gomez is under 10 years, so def not her. No clue. Certain other implieds are a they might get the middle finger right back tho and get proven wrong AGAIN like before.

      Also, Christina stated in an interview recently that she was taking time off from the Voice this fall to FOCUS on her kids, her engagement, and her upcoming show on Spike TV (game show called ‘Tracks’).

      No where did she mention focusing on an album, which is long overdue.

    She hasn’t had that many acting gigs, but she’s the only person I can think of would rather promote her #happy# #hubbylove##stepsonlove# 24/7 than work. Her last album was a flop. Now, she’s with a new label and her first single video looks like she shot it on her cell phone.
