Sizzle Is A Fizzle

[Blind Gossip] We’ve told you before that if actors play a romantic couple on film, it is absolutely necessary for them to carry some romantic chemistry over to the promotions in order to draw interest. Even if they are married or involved with someone else, they have to sell the sizzle in order to get people to buy the steak.

Well, these two actors have been doubling down on the sexy talk when being interviewed about their new film… but they are having a tough time sizzling!

She has stepped up her game from last time, but it is exhausting for her to try to pretend she finds him attractive and to do the intimate, teasing thing with him. She wanted to know when she could start doing interviews without him. She really would like to be as far away from him as possible. Then she’s not reminded about how much she hates him and can actually say nice things about him.

Yikes! Nothing like a little shade to turn a sizzle into a fizzle.

By the way, her big beef with him is that he was critical of her failing to actively promote their last film together.

    I don’t understand why people are going to see it in the theater – if you want smut, wait until it is released on video and enjoy in the pleasure of your home.

    The 50 shades darker promos.

    Dakota and Jamie can’t stand each other. Only clue I got was the shade reference.

    She is going on and on about how sex scenes are easier when you do them with a friend, clearly trying to dispel the persistent rumours that they are the exact opposite.

    As an aside, I saw Dornan on The Talk recently and he couldn’t have been more unhappy with Sharon Oz hanging all over him, ha ha…..

    Dornan and Johnson. They look a little more friendly this time around, but I’m still not buying it.

    The alarming thing though is that Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt acts similarly during their promotional tour for the Passanger, like they don’t like each other at all — I would assume they would, but something is off in their interviews.

    Why anyone would cast DJ in any role, let alone a series, justifies termination and time to turn in your casting card. She’s horrible and there is ZERO chemistry between them in the rare snippet I’ve unintentionally observed. Blech!

    Of course it will be a success. I don’t doubt that it will be an absolutely bad movie but that also didn’t stop people from watching the first movie.

    Yes, it will be a success, even though it will stink up the theater, just as the books stunk up the bookstores but still made gazillions of dollars.
    Best thing about this whole train wreck is Zayn singing. His voice is sexier than anything in any of those crappy books.

    Dakota and Jamie? I feel like she’s worked really hard on both films in terms of actually, you know, trying. She’s been out promoting and wasn’t visibly wooden and full of self-loathing about the part.

    Clue: the related blind was also about Dakota. I gotta say, I find her more endearing than early KStew.

    The sex scenes in the book were torrid and almost taboo. The movie does NOT portray the sizzling, obsessive passion that made the novels sensational. Bland, blah and boring casting choices for the lead characters, the lack of chemistry between them, is going to drag this flick down.

    Here is where a movie has license to earn an NC-X rating for tasteful, artistic…
