[Blind Gossip] This one is a bit of a shocker, as this acclaimed film actress works on multiple projects every year and seems to lead a very clean and healthy life.

She will definitely be on stage at this year’s Academy Awards. However, while other actresses are preparing for the big night by getting their hair highlighted or getting a fresh round of Botox or raiding their stylist’s closet, our beautiful girl had to take care of something a little more pressing than her appearance.

She had to get sober!

She recently did a stint in a rehab facility that is not located in the United States. It turns out that she has a serious pill problem. Painkillers. When she’s stressed out, she goes to the pills.

What could be stressing her out? Well, she was very disappointed that a project she was expected to be nominated this year didn’t do well. Oh, and there’s that actor who was in the movie with her. Whatever is she going to do with him?

Yes, we’ve told you about the movie nomination issue and the boyfriend issue before. The rehab thing, though, is brand new.

    This is a late reply, but after watching the Oscars broadcast, it was/is definitely Alicia Vikander…she looked way off: jittery, uncomfortable and unsettled.

    Clues: project didn’t do as well as expected in Oscar nominations: her film, “The light Between Oceans” was expected to get several nominations, and I think it ended up getting no nominations. Boyfriend situation: long rumored to be in a miserable relationship with Fassbender, who also starred with her in “The Light Between Oceans”.

    In some pictures her eyes look kinda dull/drugged, like pill users I know.

    Optional: Yes I am surprised, but with hindsight painkillers make sense. Her initial career choice as a ballet dancer was scuppered by injuries. I imagine this where she picked up the habit. It’s easily done.

    Surprised at rehab? Nope. She always seemed to me like she was wound tight and fought to control everything.

    Actor: Michael Fassbender and their PR relationship.
    Clues: Didn’t catch the usual verbal clues, but the failed project is “The Light Between Oceans.” And she’s done multiple projects the last couple of years.
    Optional: Surprised given her image but I can see her being Type A and…

      I’ve known a painkiller addict. They don’t get the same bloated/unhealthy look as alcoholics or the glassy-eyed stupidity of pot users. They don’t fall over while walking or slur their words like alkies, “sizzurp” users, or benzo addicts. It’s actually a very easy addiction to hide. The one side effect is you lose weight because your urge for food goes away, and the skinnier, the better in that field, so… not surprising. NOTHING surprises me in Hollywood anymore.
