Don’t bet any money that his daughter will do so! She HATES politics.

While she would never say that to her parents, it’s what she tells her friends.

She also tells them that she would like to be a model or an actress, but there are two problems. First, her parents think that is “dumb.” Second, she thinks she needs to lose twenty pounds first. No, she’s not overweight.

    Who hopes their 18 year old daughter goes directly into politics? You should have a real career first. BUt I forget, Obama was a community organizer and an adjunct professor, he never really had a job

      He has a law degree, and was a visiting professor at Harvard, but don’t think President Obama ever practiced law, and I don’t think he was a full time professor at any other universities. Having said that, I don’t think this blind item is Trump because I really don’t think he might care if any of his offspring are politically inclined-but don’t necessarily think this is about Malia Obama, either

    I’ll guess Paul Ryan and his daughter Liza. The fact that it says “one of his kids” suggests multiple children, but it goes on to say “his daughter” suggesting only one daughter. Ryan has 1 daughter and 2 sons.

      I agree with you that it’s gotta be someone with one daughter but multiple kids. All the Obama family guesses don’t fit the “his daughter” thing because he has two.

    My guess is Malia Obama. I don’t blame her one bit. Politicians are like permanent eighth-graders, but with way more power. She should absolutely pursue her own path and not feel guilty about it.

    I wouldn’t be surprised if she went to Columbia next year. It would appease the rents and allow her to pursue her interests.

    No idea who it is but if being a healthy weight, she still wants to lose 20 pounds then she is clearly to dumb to make her own decisions.

    I am guessing this is Trump and one of his daughters, but who knows which one. 🙂 Yes, her parents should absolutely allow her to do whatever she wants for a living, if she’s over 18.

    Idk who it is but to answer the optional part, I say any good parent will allow their child to do what they want to for a living. Trust that you’ve given her a good foundation and let her spread her wings and soar!

    I’d guess Malia Obama. She doesn’t seem all that engaged in politics. I can see why she would THINK she needs to lose weight–not that she really does, but she’s not model stick-skinny). She’s got a unique look too. Pretty sure her parents would give her attitude about it though. Esp Michelle.

    I think it’s a big mistake to prevent your kids from pursuing their dreams, even if you think the dreams are stupid. Have your say, but then back off! If they fail it’s not the end of the world…

      Unless of course, they are worried about her desire to lose more weight. The girl is thin. I would worry if I had a kid that I though had body issues. I also wouldn’t encourage them to go into modeling. Not a healthy career choice. All things being equal, I would let me kids do whatever they want (not my business). But if I thought that choice would be unhealthy, then yes, I would have an issue with it.

    I’m guessing it’s Malia Obama since she interned at HBO’s Girls last year. She’s also very tall.
