Our actress is very tired of the comments and attacks on her obviously altered face. She is feeling defensive, and unfortunately for her, it shows in interviews.

Her team wants [The Actress] her to continue the promotional tour for [the project], so they can’t do the faux illness. Instead, they dragged up the story and the family of some guy she dated last century to try to make her the object of sympathy rather than criticism.

The truth is that she hasn’t had any contact with the family in at least ten years. This is all about her trying to make [the Actress] look like a sympathetic figure. The family doesn’t even realize they’re being used.

So it sounds like instead having her fake an illness (so you’ll feel sorry for her and stop criticizing her), her team will now have her fake grieving (so you’ll feel sorry for her and stop criticizing her).

    Seriously, a PR disaster…I couldn’t believe she’d lie in the first place–it’s obvious she had work done, and who cares! We know! So? But this…this has turned into a sh*tstorm and I am shocked at the decision-making.

    Leave Renee alone already!!! So what if she had sbeen me work done!?! Not you, but the media in general. Losing someone that way is traumatic, and she does seem to suffer from bouts of depression. She’s a decent actress and deserves to have the focus on her art of acting, good or bad, not her face.

      I don’t think anyone begrudges her the right to get plastic surgery, of course not. But, she created this mess herself by lying about something so obvious. I am insulted that these celebrities and publicists think the general public are a bunch of idiots to tell us a spade is a heart. Its not the surgery she is being judged for, its the lying, and rightly so. Using the dead like this is horrible.

    Well this is obviously Zellweger. It’s too bad it’s too late to come clean about the surgery. The hole she has dug is too deep now.

    If I were a celebrity, I’d be totally out about everything I do. I’d tell the paps I’m on my way to get a face lift, I’d talk about having cramps and getting fat, I’d talk about my lesbian love affairs, etc. Its too exhausting and life is too short to spend it pretending to be someone you are not.

Trying to pretend nothing happened is a really stupid idea. The public has eyes and brains which apparently her PR people don’t have.
