It’s Faye Dunaway!

Yes, Faye Dunaway was fairly unrecognizable while shopping in Los Angeles a copule of weeks ago. Some of you didn’t even realize that she was a woman. “Mickey Rourke” seemed to be a popular guess.

Faye is a highly-esteemed actor in Hollywood. She won the Academy Award for Best Actress in 1976 for her role in Network.

Dunaway has also won three Golden Globes, a BAFTA, an Emmy.

In addition to Network, our favorite Faye Dunaway films include Bonnie and Clyde (opposite Warren Beatty), Chinatown (opposite Jack Nicholson), and, of course Mommie Dearest. In the latter film, she portrayed Joan Crawford and shouted the memorable line, “No wire hangers! Ever!”

Faye Dunaway, who is now 75,  may not have looked recognizable while out shopping, but she did clean up in time for the Vanity Fair party last night (see pic below). She preened for photos, hobnobbed with the Who’s Who of Hollywood, and then hurried off to do everyone’s dishes.

    Faye Dunaway – clue Those new clothes won’t get hung on wire hangers. Ever! – Famous from the book/movie Mommie Dearest “… no wire hangers” Plus there is a picture out there where Faye is in a different outfit but is without makeup and in the hat.

    Mrs.Faye Dunaway, first I thought mocked rourke because of the broad shoulders, and the hair and the lips but it has to be faye dunaway. Did she finally come out of her cave, huge advice, you go back in and stay there, all ezfemale sex symbols of the past want to walk around looking like weird mix of plastic surgery and expect respect, you should first respect the public and go into hiding and let us remember the past the way you were Bonnie.

    Faye Dunaway. She’s had a lot of work done on her face, which is obvious in this photo. Other than that, it looks like she’s shopping sans makeup. I find that refreshing from all the other Hollywood women with their layers of foundation, contouring, goopy eyes and glossy lips, ready for the paps to take their photo around town.

    At first it looked like Kirk Douglass had transitioned into a woman. She’s obviously had a lot of work done, but she looks like a lot of Simpsons’ TV Show female characters with her large lips. I don’t know what I’ll look like at her age, so I’ll reserve further judgement – I feel like a meanie about what I’ve already said.

    This is Faye Dunaway. There’s a very similar picture of her on the web, leaving a doctor’s office in Beverly Hills in August of last year.

    How does she look? To paraphrase a line from one of my favorite movies, “Time marches on…and sooner or later you realize that time marches across your face!”

    Looking at this on my phone and from the wording “Actor – they”, I can’t be sure if this is a man or woman, tbh. I’ll say it’s a woman, so maybe Shirley Maclaine??? Not looking too good if it’s her, but I doubt it. Should have viewed this on my laptop…ugh! ?

    Something about the face reminds me of Faye Dunaway. If that’s her then she didn’t intend to be photographed so I won’t say she looks bad. Just a bad photo, which we all can relate to.

      I thought it was Kirk Douglas at first but there are breasts and I don’t think Kirk would carry a purse. Pretty sure it’s Faye Dunaway- she has had some bad plastic surgery and she’s just plainly getting older, so your face changes.

      Yes and reference to Mommy Dearest! Her film about Joan Crawford! It’s very sad getting old you know! I’m there with no resources for plastic surgery but perhaps that’s a good thing?

      I think you’re right. She played Joan Crawford in Mommie Dearest, hence the “wire hangers” clue. This is not a flattering picture due to the hat and the fact that her hair is not visible in the shot. Other than that, I think she’s looking just fine for a 75-year old out shopping!

      First I thought it was a man in a mustache. Then I thought it was Faye with a fake mustache. Now I realize it’s Faye and there is no frickin’ mustache – it just looks like it – some kind of optical illusion.
