One Singer Attacks Another

women-back-to-back[Blind Gossip] Uh oh! A younger female singer is dissing an older female singer!

Younger said something to the effect that Older’s popularity is based more on her diva behavior and stunts than on her actual singing ability.

What?!

Yes, Older is the ultimate diva. However, you would be hard-pressed to find anyone who would say that Younger’s career success is based on her singing ability!

Younger’s career was based on her family name, her outrageous and frequently vulgar behavior, and one stunt after another. She dated more than half a dozen male celebrities for the publicity. She spent years taking off her clothes, glamorizing drug use, and simulating sex on stage. If acting like a certifiable train wreck isn’t stunting, we don’t know what is!

For Younger to accuse a very prominent singer with a renowned voice of stunting is crazy. Perhaps all the drugs have eroded Younger’s brain cells?

    A lot of clues suggested that the younger singer being Miley (train wreck for her smash wrecking ball), and the ultimate diva makde me think of Mariah, but I can hardly relate her to Miley as they haven’t met each other for a long time, last time I could think of is the VH1 show when they shared the stage together with other divas like Beyonce.     Miley Cyrus , Mariah Carey . People shouldn’t diss Myley’s singing because she can sing and I don’t hear much digitalization going on After all Producers Magic tricks couldn’t do much for Kim K , Kelly Osbourne , or Lisa Marie . There is talent there but she , of course, is not in the same league as Mariah but not many are . Still Myley’s needs to learn her place and her Dad’s connections and her publicity gimmicks got her there unlike Mariah who had to claw her way to the top.

    Totally Miley and Mariah. Mariah has the better voice for sure, but I think Miley actually has a pretty good voice, certainly better than alot of her contemporaries like Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, et al.

    The Ultimate Diva has to be Mariah Carey. And the younger singer must be Miley Cyrus.

    I think they are both technically very talented, although I personally can’t stand either singing style. Mariah is a juggernaut in her field and doesn’t deserve criticism about her talent. Miley’s voice is powerful too and it’s too bad her antics have distracted from her abilities.

    So, neither singer is better. They’re just really different, and both are very talented. And Miley should respect her…

    Definitely Miley Cyrus as the younger singer, not 100% sure about the older singer. Maybe Alicia Keys? They seem to be butting heads on The Voice.

    Alicia obviously has the superior voice. I don’t think Miley’s voice is all that great, and obviously her publicity stunts have made her more famous than her voice. Still think that she’s a good person though — she does a lot of charity work.

    Gaga talking smack about Mariah? Mariah definitely has the better voice, or used to. Gaga was a younger generation’s version of Madonna. Nothing new or creative. She just picked up the schtick Madonna started.

    This is probably referencing Miley Cyrus, except that girl can SING. She’s got incredible pipes, so while she might be more famous for antics, she’s a genuine talent.

    The diva must be Mariah. But Mariah has a set of pipes too.

    Baffled as to why anyone wants to dis anyone. Can’t we all just be nice?

    Miley virus Cyrus is the younger and I feel like Madonna is the old bat, considering she has pulled a fair few stunts in her time and her singing isn’t that great.
    ‘Virus has the better voice but Madonna is still the better of the two, Madonna at least knows how to pull off trashy without being a gutter crawler like Miley

    Who has the superior voice: Younger or Older? They are both equal. Average voices and both based their careers off controversy and sexual antics. Madonna is only a legend because she managed to turn her 15 minutes of fame into 30 yrs.

    The description of the younger singer sounds like Miley Cyrus. The biggest diva I can think of is Mariah Carey. I don’t keep up with Miley, so I haven’t got a clue who she might have a beef with.

    Who has the superior voice? Probably Mariah, but she does runs all the time, and I don’t really enjoy that. I have heard a few Miley songs, and she does have a good voice. Who I like better probably depends upon my mood and the song.

    The “ultimate diva with a renowned voice” is almost certainly Mariah Carey.

    Description of the younger one sounds like Miley Cyrus but I don’t think her family name is all that powerful and also don’t think she’s dated “half a dozen male celebrities.” Taylor Swift has done the dating (and doesn’t have much of a voice) but no powerful family name or vulgar behavior there. Clues also don’t seem to fit Katy Perry, Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, etc.
    I’m stumped.

    To be honest, I think Miley has an amazing and unique voice. Keyes has a unique voice as well. But it is her writing and musical composition skills that set her apart.

    I know, Miley is out there (though I am convinced it is a stunt). But she has a really interesting and haunting voice. I am a fan no matter what she says.

    I have no clue who the younger singer is, but I’m pretty sure the older singer is Mariah. Mariah has an amazing voice & has written many great songs so I’m sure she’d still be extremely famous without the “diva” antics.

      Agreed, Madonna has a passable voice at best. I don’t think even her most ardent fans would say she is a great singer.

      I do not want to burst your bubble, but that is impossible. 1) She IS the family name. 2) She does not or ever glamorized drugs. 3) She IS known for her singing abilities. 4) Never simulated sex on stage. Yes, it can be a bit sexy but never over-the-top. If you know what I mean. 5) Those who dated her are not even that famous at all.

      the blind doesn’t say that Younger can’t sing, but it says her fame isn’t based on her voice. Miley doesn’t stay relevant w/ her voice as much as her behavior

    Note: At first I originally thought older singer was Mariah Carey because of her being a diva and all, but you will be hard pressed to find someone who will say she can’t sing. I do not think even Miley is that self absorbed.

      I’ll say it … Mariah has lost her voice. She no longer has the range that she used to and it’s very apparent. What was once there is now just a shadow of her former talent. Sad, but true.

      I agree — she is a weirdo, but she can belt out a song. I can see why she might not like Mariah since Mariah plays the diva and enjoys excess.
