[Blind Gossip] Why wasn’t this publicity-hungry girl at the Billboard Music Awards supporting her musician boyfriend? Do you think she voluntarily skipped the chance to be walk the red carpet and be seated in the front row on a nationally televised event because she was tired or because she had something better to do?

Nope.

She wasn’t there because her boyfriend didn’t want her there!

He thinks she’s boring and he didn’t want her to ruin his big night. She was literally a half an hour away and his people told her people that she should stay home. She was annoyed because it’s a big event and she flew in specifically to be there for it and she had a dress and everything. She is only dating him for the publicity, so she is pissed that he isn’t holding up his end to do appearances together.

Sounds like this relationship may be on its last long legs!

The Weeknd ditched girlfriend Bella Hadid for the Billboard Music Awards.

The Awards were held in Las Vegas. Bella flew into Los Angeles to pick up her dress and was about to hop the short flight to Las Vegas (which is only a half hour away) when The Weeknd told her, “Stay home.” Ouch.

We told you that this relationship was on its last legs. The two have only been spotted together a few times in the past six months. And now he’s told her to “stay home” permanently. From People:

The Weeknd (né Abel Tesfaye) and Bella Hadid are going their separate ways.

The couple has split after a year and half together, PEOPLE has learned.

“Their schedules have been too hard to coordinate and he is focusing on finishing and promoting his album,” a source confirms to PEOPLE exclusively. “They still have a great deal of love for one another and will remain friends.”

A rep for the Weeknd had no comment. A rep for Hadid did not immediately respond to request for comment.

The “Starboy” hitmaker, a.k.a. Abel Tesfaye, 25, and the model, 20, were first linked together in April 2015 when he asked her to be in the artwork for his album, Beauty Behind the Madness. “My motive was literally to work with her,” he said at the time. Hadid also starred in The Weeknd’s music video for his single, “In the Night.”

They broke up because of “their schedules.” Ha ha. It’s always “their schedules”, right? Because it would be mean for The Weeknd’s publicist to say, “He broke up with her because they have exhausted the publicity angle and she was just too darn boring for him to want to be around for even one more minute.”

      To me Bella doesn’t seem like a publicity hungry celebrity so far. There are also some pics & videos of Abel-Bella that don’t come off as stunt for cameras. Still the whole relationship has a sting of pedophilia and it would be great if its just PR

      I knew everyone would be guessing her but she was tearing up the red carpet at Cannes in a dress that was … quite revealing.
      So IF this is her, the reason she wasn’t there is one of the other options: something better to do.
      Who wouldn’t choose the frickin Cannes film festival over the Billboards?

      She was in Cannes a few days before but there were pictures of her on Sunday having lunch with her father in LA.
