[Blind Gossip] This actor has been the star of some huge $100+ million hit films. He’s not the easiest guy to work with, though. On one big budget film, several crew members nearly quit over his diva behavior.
One example: He would throw a daily hissy fit over his wardrobe. His costumes were well planned out and authentic for the time period – as the piece was a historical drama – but he hated them. All of them. Every single outfit was: too big, too small, too binding, not tight enough, scratchy, uncomfortable, too ornate, not unique enough, etc. No, he’s not some sort of history expert or fashion expert. He is just a pain in the butt to work with. Everyone had to wear the costumes, but our actor was the only one complaining.
His chronic unhappiness with these kinds of details left workers in tears and caused production overruns which irritated everyone on this big budget film. Needless to say, the crew was glad when it was all over.
The actor himself is clueless about how his behavior rubbed people the wrong way. In fact, he wants to do a sequel of the film. The crew who worked with him on the original have a message for him: “Oh, hell no!”
