No Kiss Hello

[Blind Gossip] This film actress wants you to think that she’s a good mom. That’s why she’ll coo about her children in interviews and do photo ops with them.

Except… she doesn’t actually seem to be spending much time with them.

There was one month this year she was working a lot and she only saw the children three days total in four weeks. The children kept asking, “Is Mommy ever coming home?” When she finally did come home, the children were so mad at her that they didn’t even want to kiss her hello. They just ignored her.

    To me, the little girl in the photo looks like an orphaned ragamuffin. Something about her clothes and pose suggest that she’s on her own….which reminds me of the orphans whom Angelina adopted. Plus, she dresses them like this little girl. Seeing how she sought to portray Brad (who is no saint, to be sure,) I could unfortunately see Angelina being too busy with her charity work, etc. to be there for her own kids. (Brad with a headache bag on his head as a million kids dance around him.)

    Has been off promoting her brand Flower Beauty. The pic reminds me of Gertie in ET and the kid is also wearing an olive green top – her eldest kid is called Olive. Also the ref to Never Been Kissed in the title of the blind.

    Kate Hudson because I have noticed when she isn’t working or trotting her kids out, she is jetting off to another country to attend fashion shows or even just to shop.

    I follow her on snapchat and she’s very rarely home. She travels almost nonstop while her husband and kids are in LA. When she does travel with family, it never seems to be all together, but rather she’ll take one daughter at a time. The little girl in the picture looks lol her youngest daughter.

    Bonus: No, children with fathers who are away on business too often usually grow to resent them too.

      Oh and Alba talks about her children in nearly every interview, mostly because her Honest company centers around healthier options for children’s products.

    Saw yet another picture of her “back on the beat”, filming another movie.
    The kids must/I hope are with their dad most of the time.
    She does do photo ops with them, they never look happy.
    Very sad.

    Why does the mother have to be the most nurturing one? Often it is the dad who is the nurturer. Whether father or mother who neglects their children, both are equally heinous.

      Yep, I concur. She’s a workaholic but every now and then when she’s not working she’ll be photoed with her kids (like she called the paps to show how great a mom she is), getting ice cream, toy store etc. Also agree they never look happy.

      Optional, I do not judge them differently they are equally responsible in how much time or lack of time that they do or do not spend with their kids.

    Parents should be present … I feel sorry for the kids i definitely don’t judge who spend more time or not every family just different than the other .. as long as you here when it counts im fine

    Of course not — mom or dad need to spend time with the kids. Period. I recall Mandy Patinkin leaving a successful series to spend more time with his family. World didn’t end.

    I would judge a person equally whether male or female for only seeing their young children 3 times in a month. Especially if its a regular thing. What a selfish jerk. Don’t have kids if you won’t prioritize them!

    I can never guess who this actress is, but I was a single mother to one daughter, raised her by myself and gave my all to that child and waited until AFTER she was done with high school to leave for the UK to do my post-graduate degree. Now she is has a Master’s from Naropa Uni in Boulder THAT is what a good mother does – spend her time with her child(ren) – not galavant around pretending that she cares! Actions, my friends, speak louder than words and the proof is in the pudding.

    The one I see doing this the most is Jessica Alba. Whether she’d be classed as a “film actress” these days is another question though. But she rarely spends any time with her kids.

      That’s who I thought of too. I think she is very involved in her business.

      I think as a whole, there is a double standard. Men are let off the hook re parenting much more easily than are women. I just hope there is a dad around for these kids, ie, that this is not a single mother. Every day presence of the father would make a more secure environment for the kiddos, not a gaggle of nannies. No one can replace an actual parent.

      Sadly all men have to do is show up for that dad of the year award. Women have to wage a war from sunrise to sunset. In most cases.

    Not sure who this is…maybe Kate Hudson.

    I do judge moms and dads differently but it might because of my divorce. When I was raising my children as a single parent, I didn’t even want them to spend any time with him at all other than the court appointed every other weekend and one night a week. Once they got older and began to see through him, they didn’t even want to spend that much time.

    To me this blind’s clues make me think of Drew Barrymore. The picture looks just like her in ET, and “Never Been Kissed” is one of her movies. From what I understand though she really wanted to be a mom and she hasn’t been working a ton so maybe I’m wrong.

      It hurt her to lose toms kids…especially the boy. Scientology is hard to fight unless kids are little. My husband knows one of their employee’s. They’re really nice people. I see her in Franklin. I’ve lived next to a county manager… My kids played with their kids. I do wonder if Nichole is like Darrell H, kinda simple minded.

      I live in Nashville also (Mt. Juliet) and have seen Nicole a couple of times in Green Hills mall. She was super pleasant and kind to everyone that spoke to or approached her.

      Yes! I immediately thought this too. There’s something very phony about her and yesterday Ted Danson was on the Today Show and said “you want to knowcwhat it’s like to work with Kristen? When they say cut she’s calling or skyping with her kids.” It seemed s bit contrived.

      I agree. I also read something a while back implying she was ‘depressed’ or something. I think the thought of kids was better than the reality for her. She had a hard long time losing the weight, but now she’s vegetarian. She wasn’t getting work for a while either. I don’t think she’s the happy homemaker she makes herself out to be. She’s known for being emotional and immature. IMO that equals selfish and probably not putting your kids first.

    I’ve always wondered just how much Reese’s kids actually see her (not as much as she wants us to think), but the older two are past the “mommy” phase.

      You might as well guess “All of them!” But it’s not supposed to be nice to criticize mommies … the man is supposed to be the villain who can’t keep their little friend in their pants.

      Then when a split comes up, the woman cries & wails for sympathy while fishing in the sob sisters who feel the they relate to her. Never mind that while Celeb Mommy polishes her halo & works for a living, she’s also busy hiding her own bad habits. whether it’s substance abuse or just being phony.

      ETA: She seems to do very little apart from parading around in front of the paps that she’s called. We all know about her army of nannies and household staff. Not surprising that she’s not Mom of the Year she is desperate for us believe.

      Does she work a lot? And I’ve never seen her doing photo ops with her kids. Once in a while they get snapped going to school or something, but I haven’t seen her or the kids in the rag mags in several months.
