[Blind Gossip] Ever since this celebrity couple split, there has been a marked difference in how they have publicly talked about their relationship and their breakup.

The singer has been dropping non-so-subtle digs at her husband and has flaunted multiple new relationships.

The movie actor has been… quiet.

So it was quite surprising to learn that the actor is building a house… right next door to the singer!

Does this mean that he is looking to stay close to her? That he is pining for her? That he hopes that they will eventually reconcile?

None of the above!

It’s strictly a real estate deal. Each one owns one of the two adjoining lots. It is valuable real estate. He is going to develop it to increase the value, and then sell it. He has no interest in maintaining contact with her and he absolutely will NOT be living next door to her if she is there!

There is one potential problem, though.

Even though development of his lot will increase the value of her lot, too, there is some concern that she will try to impede development just to spite him.

Singer Miley Cyrus and actor Liam Hemsworth were together for a total of approximately ten years. They got married in 2018…

…and then divorced five minutes later.

When they split, there was a lot of (wishful) chatter. They are still in love! They will eventually get back together!

No.

The fact that they owned side-by-side lots in Malibu in Southern California was seen as an indication that Liam was hanging on to relationship and really wanted to get back together with Miley.

No.

Liam Hemsworth is well over his relationship with Miley Cyrus.

He does not keep in touch with her. He does not pine for her. He is not hoping for some sort of rebound now that Miley has broken up with singer Cody  Simpson.

In fact, Liam doesn’t even like Miley!

It seems Liam Hemsworth may not be very happy with ex-wife Miley Cyrus.

The pair met while filming 2010’s “The Last Song” and were an on-again-off-again item until their marriage in December of 2018.

Just a few months later, the couple announced their split and their divorce was finalized early this year.

You already knew that. On to the new stuff.

A source has now told Us Weekly that Cyrus, 27, is no longer in the good graces of the 30-year-old “Hunger Games” star.

“Liam kind of has a low opinion of Miley at this point,” said the source. “He was really hurt by their split.”

The insider revealed that the two “haven’t talked much” since their divorce and that Hemsworth was “hurt” by how quickly his ex moved on.

After the divorce, Cyrus engaged in a brief relationship with Kaitlynn Carter before striking up a romance with singer Cody Simpson, which is rumored to have ended recently.

Post-breakup, Hemsworth leaned on his family for support.

“[He] has had the support of his family to help him move on,” said the source. “Liam has been trying to be as private as possible and respectful about their relationship and breakup, and it’s a shame to him and his family that certain aspects about his and Miley’s relationship have been made public.”

They added: “He’s a very traditional and good guy and was very hurt by the way specific instances played out in front of the world.”

The latest example of Miley Cyrus disrespecting their relationship is her new disclosure that she lost her virginity to Liam Hemsworth when she was 16.

However, Cyrus also got candid that Hemsworth was far from her first sexual experience. “I was attracted to girls way before I was ever attracted to guys. When I was like 11 or 12, my friends were starting to tell me what they were doing with guys and I didn’t really understand it, so I got most of my girlfriends to hook up with me,” the pop singer said, before adding, “The first time I ever hooked up with anyone was with a girl — two of them.”

So classy.

Miley Cyrus has trouble keeping her tongue in her mouth. And she has trouble holding her tongue when it comes to her personal life.

Miley sold off her lot at the beginning of 2020. She took a loss on it.

Cyrus bought the posh pad in 2016 under the Sunshine Girl Trust — located directly next door to her Aussie ex Liam Hemsworth’s ranch-style retreat that he shelled out $6.8 million to buy in 2014.

According to records, before the 27-year-old twerking songstress bought the contemporary two-story oasis near famed Paradise Cove, it was listed at $2.75 million, but she ended up paying a cool $2.525 million.

Now, the newest owner snatched it up for a steal at $1.7 million.

Miley Cyrus moved. She bought a house in the neighborhood where the Kardashians live.

UPDATE!

Liam Hemsworth just sold off his Malibu property… at a huge loss!

As you may recall, he had a beautiful house on the property.

The house burned down in the Malibu wildfires.

Here’s what was left after the fire.

Ouch.

When Liam didn’t sell off the lot, there was gossip that he was holding on to the property because he wanted to be near Miley.

Your friends at Blind Gossip told you that was not true. Liam Hemsworth was planning on developing the valuable piece of real estate and then selling it.

We were correct.

In fact, Hemsworth did apply for permits for new construction on the property and he did stay in the Malibu area.

However, he just didn’t get around to rebuilding.

It doesn’t appear Hemsworth ever rebuilt his house, although records show some permits for new construction were obtained within the last two years.

But he continued to live in the Malibu area, at one point bunking up at older brother Chris Hemsworth’s nearby digs, which themselves hit the market earlier this year.

For whatever reason, Hemsworth has abandoned that plan to rebuild and has now sold off the undeveloped property!

“Hunger Games” star Liam Hemsworth has sold his 7.4-acre estate in the Malibu foothills, the one he famously occupied with ex-wife Miley Cyrus.

Records reveal an unidentified buyer forked out $3.6 million for the two-parcel property, barely half of what the Aussie actor paid back in 2014, when he bought the place for $6.8 million.

Of course, a lot has changed in six years. Not only are Hemsworth and Cyrus no longer coupled, their marital Malibu home is also long gone — lost to 2018’s Woolsey wildfire, which ravaged the coastal city. What remains is little more than a burned-out concrete foundation and an untouched pool, plus acres of semi-charred rolling hills.

So he paid $6.8 million for the property and sold it for $3.6 million, for a loss of $3.2 million.

Don’t worry about Liam Hemsworth being homeless, though!

He appears to have settled back in his native Australia, where last year he paid a reported $4.25 million for a ranch-style estate in scenic Byron Bay.

      It’s good for actors to have a backup career and it seems real estate is a good one for many… no university required, and they typically have some real estate holdings themselves if they had even fleeting success. Everyone needs an income, and holding onto a piece of real estate he doesn’t want to live on doesn’t make much sense.

    Liam and Miley. If they are a part of an HOA I can see how she could block his plans (sometimes you need your neighbors to sign off on plans). Otherwise, I would say no, she can’t and won’t do anything.
