Never Another Woman

[Blind Gossip] We’ve told you before that this TV Show would be stretching out the search for a co-host ad infinitum.

The current star likes being the ONLY star. There’s more attention and more money in being the star of a show versus being a star of a show. She is in no hurry to see the seat next to her filled.

A new rumor just popped up that a woman from another show (that is experiencing its own personnel shuffle) is a serious contender for the slot.

NO.

For all her feminist positioning, [our host] would NEVER have another woman as her permanent co-host! If there is ever another regular co-host, it will be a MAN. She needs a masculine foil. Even a gay masculine foil would be preferable to a woman. For the time being, though, she has to pretend that she is considering a wide variety of people.

    She has to be the center of attention and doesn’t play well with others. I wish it were MeAgain Kelly going on the show as co-host. I would love to see those two egos collide.

    Are we supposed to pretend that all of Regis’ co-hosts weren’t female? When they were searching before Kelly took over in 2001 that all of his potential serious contenders weren’t women? Why is it an issue now that she would want a male?

    Anyone know what the status of Kelly’so contract is? Didn’t she re-sign – but for how many years? What are the ratings? I rarely hear about anyone who is (still) a fan of the show.

    Kelly Ripa. I used to think she was okay. Not anymore. I really can’t stand her. She is such a poser and so full of herself. And, she’s so damn skinny, it’s distracting.
    I haven’t watched the show since Regis left. As far as I’m concerned, HE was the show.

    Tamron Hall?? Kelly would never allow another woman to steal her spotlight.

      and, who in their right mind would want to work with her??? Tamron is so much classier, more attractive, fresher, nicer, funnier…. the network would do well to dump ripa & put Tamron in her place!

    Kelly needs a co-host who is calm, cool and collected. Not an over the top shrill personality that over powers her. Jerry O’Connell is perfect.

    Kelly Ripa and Tamron Hall that just left the Today show. She won’t pick a costar unless she is forced to. I would actually like to see Kelly leave and 2 new hosts take over. Maybe Tamron and someone else. But I have never liked Kelly.
