[Blind Gossip] This blind item is shocking because this well-known actor has not been married long… and because the woman for whom he is leaving his wife is a famous film actress!

Our over-50 actor is the greying but handsome star of many films. If they ever built a monument to handsome movie stars, he would be the man they select to pose for it.

We don’t know why he is gambling with his new marriage, but clearly something is not right. His new, foreign-born wife is well-educated… but perhaps she is a little too skinny or spacey for him?

He is leaving her for a famous film actress who is considered one of the prettiest women in Hollywood. She is married with kids. The actor and actress have known each other for a long time and have even worked together. However, no one other than their closest friends knew that they recently realized they belonged together!

They had a fling more than twenty years ago, but they have managed to stay friends since then. About six months ago, they were both so miserable in their marriages that they started calling each other every day. They started hooking up a few weeks later, then just realized that they were always supposed to be together. Believe me, they were as surprised as anyone when they figured it out!

How do we know this isn’t just a fling? They have purchased a home together!

Both our actor and the actress were rumored to be independently selling off their favorite properties, and it turns out they have have now purchased a home together in an upscale Los Angeles neighborhood called Holmby Hills. A separate source tells us:

They have both been selling off properties to prep for their divorces, and they went 50/50 on buying the HH house. [The house] never even hit the market. It was an all-cash deal. Yes, this was all done very quietly.

Here is the planned sequence of events: Our actress will announce her divorce in the next couple of weeks. Our actor will announce his divorce the Friday before Memorial Day weekend. She will move into their new home this summer so the kids can adjust before going back to school. The actor will follow in September.

It’s going to be a PR nightmare (two divorces plus them moving in together), but they’re both pros, so they’ll deal with it.

It’s going to be a wild summer of gossip!

George Clooney and Julia Roberts are a couple!

Every new couple needs a nickname, and we’re naming this couple… CLOOBERTS!

We know that this pairing is a shock, but maybe it shouldn’t be! Clooney and Roberts are long-time colleagues and friends, and both couples have been rumored to have relationship problems over the past year.

Clooberts’ relationship went beyond friendship while filming Money Monster, which will be in theaters next month.

After the film’s release, they will announce that they are divorcing their respective spouses. They will then move into their newly-purchased 12,000 square foot mansion in Holmby Hills.

George Clooney will be divorcing attorney Amal Alamuddin Clooney, whom he married less than 18 months ago.  Julia Roberts will be divorcing cameraman Danny Moder, whom she married in 2002.

The Clooneys do not have any children yet.

The Moder’s three children – Phinnaeus, Hazel, and Henry – will be splitting their time between their father’s house and Cloobert’s new house in Holmby Hills.

    Very interesting that this April Fools prank involves a actress with kids who worked with George Clooney in a movie and who is announcing a divorce. Then Drew Barrymore, who fits that criteria to a tee, just announced she is divorcing her husband.

    Even in pranks there is truth.

The actress could be Julia Roberts (leving skinny woman for PRETTY WOMAN), allthough not sure if they’ve known each other for over 20 years and I can’t really picture them as a couple … Also thought of Michelle Phieffer, who definitely is one of the most beautiful Hollywood actresses there ever has been.
