[Blind Gossip] Cast mates of ensemble TV shows are normally very supportive of each other in public. If someone has a baby, wins an award, or does a charity project, the other cast mates will offer their congratulations and support.
That’s not the case here.
There’s a lot of tension among the ensemble cast of this popular television show right now. One of the actresses has been working on a non-acting project outside of the show. When the project was recently released, the reaction she got from her cast mates was… crickets. Where are all the congratulatory tweets? Could they be jealous of our ambitious actress?
The actress is pretending that their lack of support is not bothering her. She is simply ignoring it and interacting with those who do support her, namely other entertainment types who share her interests. Looks like she has a whole new group of friends!

Lucy Hale was the best known actor prior to the inaugural season of the the hit show Pretty Little Liars. Perhaps her cast mates were a little bitter about that, because the three other stars of the show – Ashley Benson, Shay Mitchell and Troian Bellisario – formed a clique, and Lucy Hale doesn’t seem to be part of it.
The other three constantly posts photos of themselves together on and off the set (at a party, at Coachella, etc.), and poor Lucy is never invited.
To rub a little more salt into the wound, all are active on social media, when Hale released her first record last year, none of the three posted any messages of congratulations. Harsh!
Fortunately, Hale has one good friend from the show (actor Ian Harding). When she released her album, she was supported by country singer Joel Crouse (who became her boyfriend for a few months), Demi Lovato, and the Jenner girls. And when she had a birthday party this year, she was surrounded by a whole bunch of her new friends. None of the other PLL girls attended.
Although the other three actresses will say during interviews that they are ALL friends, we think that actions speak louder than words, and that Lucy Hale is just too polite to call them out.
